Britain, Canada and Australia have all joined nearly a hundred and fifty countries who already recognise Palestine in the hope of putting a two-state solution back on the agenda, despite the Israeli government's sworn opposition to it. Today I urged the government to clearly set out the timeline for when Palestine will be recognised as a state. We need to move past vague promises and see real action on the recognition of Palestine. There will not be a two-state solution until the international community comes together and insists upon it, and we must play our part in that.
