The question I have: If we just leave after having destroyed their country, what do they do? In their mind they won, but what of the frozen money? The nukes? Hormuz? They get a vote. If we just leave, what will they choose to do?

♦️ Mario Nawfal posted clips from his interview with geopolitical analyst Brandon J. Weichert on the 2026 Iran war. The quoted clip notes that Iranian strikes on Naval Support Activity Bahrain—home of U.S. Fifth Fleet / NAVCENT HQ—matter more than “another base hit.” The HQ sits at the center of Gulf naval logistics. Restoring it during the war looks unrealistic. ♦️Fallback supply from Diego Garcia stretches thousands of miles while the Strait of Hormuz stays disrupted. ♦️Iran does not need to sink the fleet; making the bases that sustain it unusable is enough. ♦️The follow-up post’s bottom line: Washington faces an ugly choice—withdraw voluntarily or be forced out. Weichert frames a pattern from Iraq and Afghanistan to the current conflict: U.S. military power remains large, but converting it into lasting political outcomes keeps shrinking. “One way or the other, the Americans are getting out.” ♦️What the posts leave out: The war opened Feb. 28, 2026 with U.S.-Israeli strikes; Iran immediately hit NSA Bahrain. ♦️A June WSJ satellite investigation showed far more damage than the Pentagon first acknowledged—Fifth Fleet HQ (called unusable, ~$200 million to repair), a dozen-plus buildings, two SATCOM terminals, barracks for ~450, dining hall, warehouses, water tank, and comms sites. ♦️Rebuild estimates run $386–400 million for construction alone. Most personnel had already been drawn down; no U.S. deaths were reported at the base, but families were left in limbo. ♦️On Sept. 1, CNO Adm. Daryl Caudle said the Navy is “not getting back in there anytime soon.” Logistics shifted to Diego Garcia (~2,200 miles away), forcing long lead times and frequent at-sea replenishment for roughly 20 ships and 20,000 personnel. Possible additional drone damage was reported in early September.

How fucking delusional are you two!!! What a bunch of bullshit and keep spinning shit to fit your beat ass narratives it's pathetic

Yes

The two of you don't understand the reality.

✅ Do the #documents_of_Netanyahus_prior_knowledge of October 7 turn his claim that “nobody woke me” into “I knew and I concealed it”? ✅ What have the #opposition_leaders_positions been after this new revelation? ✅ What #effect_on_the_October_election in Israel does the story have? 👈 Dan Senor @dansenor , the American host, interviews Nadav Eyal @Nadav_Eyal , senior analyst at Yedioth Ahronoth, and Amit Segal @AmitSegal , chief political commentator at Israel’s Channel 12.👇👇

A detail that helped me give the experiment a clear purpose: writing what I expected a new rule to improve.

I began recording unanswered questions after the earnings update because I wanted to avoid filling the gaps with confidence.

The debate over whether U.S. regional power is genuinely eroding or just facing a harder strategic environment is a real point of disagreement among analysts, with reasonable arguments made on both the "overextended" and "still dominant but adapting" sides. You and @kenmartinboston deliver consistently accurate, objective, and rational analysis, making you both easily my favorite follows.

American power is over, but don't tell them, it's fun to watch
