Quentin Taratino said Lawrence Fishburne’s performance in King of New York was so incredible he thought - “he could be the greatest actor of his generation”. He explains: "As great as Christopher Walken is in this movie. To me, it's Larry Fishburne's movie - it was the rock that becomes a diamond aspect of the movie. It's why I could defend this movie against all comers, because to me, Fish's performance in this movie was comparable to a young Brando. It was the most exciting performance by an actor of his generation that I'd seen in a movie of that time. And I thought, well, that's it. There is a new Marlon Brando, and his name is Larry Fishburne - it was amazing, it was mesmerizing… He is the first hip hop gangster in movie history. That character had never been done before this. He invented that character. And he invented it as something to do. It wasn't in the original script. He came up with that himself… The three big Fishburne moments to me, is his opening sequence with…Tito. That's it, with Tito - black glove dude. And his reunion with Frank. And then it's the chicken scene (see below). Those are his three big arias. Not only that though - expressions that I would later hear for the rest of the decade, I actually heard for the first time in that scene. I'd never heard the expression; “I'll slap the black off you” before. That was the first time I heard it when Fish says it to Snipes. I've since heard it many times… And that was actually the first time I ever heard, “fuck you very much”. And I would proceed to hear that for the rest of the 90s. But those were the first times I'd ever heard those expressions… As terrific as he has been in other things - the level of excitement that I had over him when this movie was over, I have never had that excitement again. I thought, with this, he could be the greatest actor of his generation. That was an actual, real fucking thing. He could be the greatest actor of his generation after seeing this." #Shellybenda #pundao “We sulked and not understand to each other for many times on those times. Because those times we were offended to each other and also talk this out. It made me feel like “Am I important to her?” and I wonder about it so much. Until we had to shoot this scene. Pure had to have a feeling for Loft very very much. But in the mean time, I use my feeling when I play this scene. This feeling is full of doubtful “Am I important for Shelly?. When I looked at her, I don’t know what to say and portray this scene because of this feeling in my mind. I knew that Loft love pure so much but I don’t know that Shelly love me or not. That’s why I can’t act on that scene. Um, it maybe looks ridiculous but I don’t know why I can’t do it. So there’s a time director let us talk for a minute, I saw many people look at us and it made me feel shy to tell something from my heart and also the microphone that attached. I decided to pull it off and ask Shelly “I ask you. For you, am I important?” Shelly looked at me and said “Yes” and I looked back at her. She said “I love you, why not? I love you” she said so many things. It made me feel like I can unlock something from my heart and that time is the first time Shelly said she loves me. Because she’s always tells me that she’s not the one who likes to say “I love you” easily. And I’ll be like “why I have to wait for that word from you?” At first, I don’t understand why and annoyed. But she was the one who said it first. When she said, it made me understand her more. But as you know, I’m an emotional woman. As you can see from the unpackaged live, crying over the letters. When I was told “I love you” I cried my balls out on that scene. If you can watch this scene on this Wednesday again, you will see it. But the scene got cut until it left a little. The scene where I said like “Pure love Loft” I said why I was crying so hard until the song was coming out. And the scene got cut. That scene is also my memorable moment.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger on how this fight scene in "Total Recall" (1990) was filmed despite Sharon Stone having a serious neck trauma: "Working with Sharon will always be a challenge. She is a sweetheart of a person when not on the set, but there are some actors who just need more attention. One violent scene was hard to film because I was supposed to grab her by the neck, and she freaked. “Don’t touch me! Don’t touch me!” At first I figured that she hadn’t been brought up like a tomboy and tried to sympathize, but it was more than that. We found out that she’d had a serious neck trauma early in her life. I think she even had a scar. “Sharon,” I said, “we all rehearsed this in the hotel room on Sunset. Paul was there, we all were there, going through scene by scene. Why did you never say, ‘By the way, when we get into the fight scene, it says here that you’re strangling me, I have a little hang-up about my neck’? Then we could have worked around it step-by-step. I would gently put my hand on your neck, and then you let me know when I can squeeze tighter and when we can get a little rough. Because I’m the first one to understand.” Paul calmed her down, and Sharon was willing to work through the scene. She wanted it to be a success; we just had to go through the difficult step first. That’s the way it was." ("Total Recall - My unbelievably True Life Story", Arnold Schwarzenegger, 2012)

#emiamily 🧡: I just got back from Italy. I went to Rome for a fan meeting to meet the fans there, and they were so lovely. At first, the staff told me that fans here might be a bit quiet, but that wasn't true at all. The fans were so hyped! The staff might have been used to the fans of our male artists and expected them to be quiet. But since Bonnie and I are the first girls couple to go to Italy, the staff said they were shocked too by how incredibly hyped the fans were. They were so loud, singing along, and really enjoying. 🎤: So how was it? How overwhelming was the happiness to see the Italian fans giving you such a warm welcome? 🧡: They were so sweet and welcoming. Honestly, I didn't expect that going there, there would be this many fans waiting for us. I’m just so glad. 🎤: Did they have any surprises for you? Like a special project during the fan meeting? 🧡: A surprise? Well, they did have a project... and in that project, there was a clip that popped up from way back in the very beginning. Someone had interviewed me and asked where I wanted to go with Bonnie, and I said I wanted to go to Italy. When that clip came up again just now, after a little more than a year had passed, tears just started rolling down my face. I was like, "Wow, we wanted to come back then, and we actually made it here this fast?" I was just... 🎤: Was this a first time for EmiBonnie as well? 🧡: Yes, it was EmiBonnie's first time in Europe. Italy was our first destination.

I never do this ever but I feel that as a streamer for the game I love as well as the peeps who play it with me that this needs to be addressed. We are going to talk about the toxic behaviour and mentality of people in Unite. This individual is well known in my region to be extremely unfair spamming thanks... going afk... and surrendering constantly in their matches when things aren't going their way. For the first time for me, they've opened up voice comms and proceeded to trash talk myself and my friend. At first it was laughable because our region knows what type of person this player is. When the match ended, they continually talked negatively in such way that was in poor taste and it was then and there that I had to bring this to light. When we checked the aftermath... he made little to no contribution as a team player but proceeded to blame us. You just simply cannot be talking negatively like this without taking "accountability" for your own actions. I get that some games are frustrating and you can get upset but I strive with 100% everytime I play this game to make the community I play with a positive/learning and enjoyable experience. I understand there are those who were worried about how people may take this and are looking out for me and I appreciate you guys heaps. I am writing this to share that IT IS NOT OKAY to talk and act like this.. at least not to me or those around me let alone anyone else. Be a better person 🥹
