Mumbai Pune Expressway - A vehicle allegedly running with concealed number plates has raised serious concerns over traffic enforcement and public safety. The vehicle is accused of openly flouting traffic rules, with its hidden registration plates making it difficult to identify and potentially allowing it to evade accountability in cases such as hit-and-run incidents or other criminal activities. Despite having 55 pending traffic challans amounting to more than ₹1 lakh, the vehicle has reportedly continued to operate on the roads. On Monday, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Iran’s Bank Melli “must be shuttered and dark” as the Trump administration moves to cut off financial channels it says support the Iranian regime. CBS News’ Emmet Lyons went to Bank Melli’s London branch, which appeared closed despite being advertised as open, with lights on inside the building.
