WATCH: Horror unfolded as a South Korean plane’s undercarriage failed to extend during a second landing attempt, sending the fuselage slamming into the runway before it skidded off the tarmac, hit an embankment, and erupted into a fiery explosion.

That was an almost 10k ft runway. Why not a sand pit or other trap at end? A wall?

It's called landing gear. Idk why they didn't manually lower them they have backup systems and procedures. Something isn't right with 3 incidents in a couple days. Azerbaijan, south Korea, air canada.....wtf.
