[WATCH] Kwena Marara Moabelo questions why SAFA would reportedly offer Pitso Mosimane around R400 000 a month when former Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos was earning R1.4 million. @MararaMoabelo I look at some of the comments here and realize why we elect into power the people we do. The reasoning capacity of some of you guys is so deplorable it's a shame.

@MararaMoabelo Black man's failure is orchestrated and predetermined. We were made to believe foreign coaches are better and should always have first preference at bafana. This perpetuates the negative stereotype that we are not good enough.

@MararaMoabelo Hugo Broos is a proven NATIONAL TEAM coach. Hugo Broos won AFCON with Cameroon. Hugo Broos won Bronze with Bafana at AFCON. Pitso is a toddler in international football. Winning the CAF Champions League means nothing!!!

@MararaMoabelo Those who are arguing with you in the comment section they must tell us how much was this guy getting paid and what criteria did SAFA use to determine his salary.

@MararaMoabelo R400 000 it’s enough , Pitso must just go to Saudi Arabia and make 2Million a Months… let’s give Mkhelele a chance, I’m sure he will be fine with R400 000 .

@MararaMoabelo Yooo @MararaMoabelo you're touching something when it comes to struggling, indeed Shakes Mashaba he's struggling currently and that SAFA is always happy to pay Europeans Big monies

@MararaMoabelo In my view I think pitso is being unrealistic and greedy because on his previous stint he didn’t achieve anything with Bafana instead he bagged 7m out of SAFA, if I were him I’d take the offer and negotiate a step by step improvement increment starting with qualifying for AFCON

Pitso is a SA citizen, based in RSA9 using a rand currency for exchange except when importing items. The issue could be that foreign nationals who are appointed to couch in SA are obliged to maintain the standards of leaving in their respect countries. Whereas, R400 000 PM is top notch for SA lifestyle

@MararaMoabelo Much respect to SA's ambassador & trailblazer Pitso "Jingles" Mosimane. The salary discrepancy is simply unacceptable. However, I am thinking his appointment is likely to take us back 100 steps from where are now with Bafana. Pitso's strengths are more club than national

All those SA coaches from Pitso up to Ntseki failed SA, dismally. Pitso is no different from Ntseki when it comes to failures at the National team He failed, yet he was paid R800 000 per month in 2012. That's R1,59m in today's money He is unemployed because no one wants him SA has hired a failure who was never coached any national team since fired 14 years ago

@MararaMoabelo SAFA had to outbid other nations to get Hugo Broos, that's why they were paying him so much, Pitso is unemployed no other nations are after his signature, experience also count, you can't expect to get the same salary as someone with 30 years experience.

@MararaMoabelo I would like to know, since Broos was making R1,4 M per month...How much Mkhalele was making as an assistant.

@MararaMoabelo Key consideration, should be comparison to Hugo's credentials, or Parreira, they had won or achieved significantly with national teams that Pitso is yet to prove or achieve. So offer him his worth not necessarily match his predecessors salary. Then, have clear incentive structure

@MararaMoabelo SAFA must stop this thing of Disrespecting African coach🙁Dr Pitso is actually supposed to earn more than Broos 🤞🏼 he found the soil Fertile because Pitso cooked Sundowns which benefited Bafana Bafana 💡🤝🏻

@MararaMoabelo He's talking nonsense... If an unexpected junior were to replace him in this slot, he wouldn't get the same pay as he is getting. Sometimes we get excited by stupid stuff. Pitso has limited experience and doesn't have national team setup. Ngapha he's been unemployed for 3 years.

@MararaMoabelo My answer for you Marara Moabelo is that Pitso Mosimane was assistant coach to Parreira during 2010 FiFA world cup And continue to be Santana number two until he was given permanent position has Bafana Bafana coach he performed dismally failed to even qualify for Afcon

@MararaMoabelo I am disgusted by comments from my countrymen. Why should Pitso accept less when he has to achieve the same or higher targets? It doesn't make sense why two people who are tasked with the same job should be paid less. We pay for outcomes not who you've coached before

@MararaMoabelo Nothing to do with being South African, guys we need to be honest Coach Pitso never won anything with national team. U guys are not being fair towards Mkhelele. But since Pitso is fan favorite u guys will be quiet. Pitso must earn it. Nothing special about him

@MararaMoabelo It's the national achievements broose has against pitso for one , plus obviously if you being hired by a foreign nation there need to be relocation incentives on your contract and other things like that.

@MararaMoabelo You want to compare salaries of coaches like Parreira who coached the likes of Brazil to Pitso? Animeni. Pitso is an intern at Bafana. He must be grateful for the second chance.

@MararaMoabelo They were paying Santana millions almost 20 years ago and now they want to pay Pitso a ridiculous amount. If they want to pay R400000 to a National coach , they must rehire Molefi Ntseki or get Kgoloko Thobejane instead.

@MararaMoabelo it’s disrespect to Pitso, to black people and South Africans by Danny Jordaan and Safa. even with Fifa bonus they apparently gave Hugo Broos R21 mill bonus and Helman R8 million, such a big gap. Danny must go he is a disgrace he thinks SAFA is his personal company.

Lol. Pitso was a Bafana Bafana coach before, he failed to qualify for the Afcon 2012 if im not mistaken. So are we using a race card, or are we looking at what has Pitso done nationally vs Hugo Broos. Pitso is a very good coach guys. He has made extremely big moves for himself and the other coaches who have followed his footsteps. But nationally as a Bafana coach he has failed. So this is his 2nd try. We he succeed, we wait and see.

@MararaMoabelo SAFA knows that Pitso Mosimane will not accept that offer, they simply want to justify seeking someone else.

@MararaMoabelo @MararaMoabelo must also discuss Vho Tidiela's press conference where he recently criticized the leadership of @OfficialPSL management for being conflicted and biased. This story must not just die like this, we just saw Pirates lifting the league at the back of a huge darkclowd

@MararaMoabelo Because Hugo Broos won AFCON with Cameroon, qualified for AFCON twice and also FIFA World Cup with BafanaBafana while Pitso failed to do so while he was coaching Bafana Bafana 😭😭😭😭

@MararaMoabelo The reason is the same as fuel ⛽, Data, electricity and cars costing more in ZA than it cost on our neighborhood yet they come from here.... ZA citizens being taken for a poes as always.

@MararaMoabelo He is wrong, Broos came after winning AFCON and Pitso won nothing on international stage except at club level. SAFA must also guide against rewarding mediocrity because the person is Black and a South African.
