Calling Pitso โgreedyโ reduces a serious football discussion to an attack on his character. Pitso Mosimane is one of the most accomplished African coaches of his generation. If SAFA wants his experience, tactical team and technical standards, they should expect to pay for them. Broos being successful does not mean Pitso has no value. And Pitso having failed with Bafana before does not erase everything he achieved afterwards. Coaches grow, gain experience and improve. The real question should be whether Pitso is the right man for Bafana now, what his technical plan is, and whether SAFA can afford the structure he believes he needs. Wanting proper compensation for your expertise is not greed.

Im in agreement with this gentleman, he is also an emotional coach, reacts to things outside the football field and he will definitely be locking horns with some of this NEC people if any criticism comes his way.

I don't agree with Nadim in other issues but with this one am in agreement. Money from sponsors for senior team should also balance Banyana, under 23 and under 20 not all budget to one man R8Million for Pitso would be fair as start, it will improve as he goes every year.

I repeat, being a good club coach does'nt necessarily mean you'll be successful at national level, as proven by Pitso himself during his first Bafana stint. He needs to prove that he can do better this time

I do not care whether Pitso Mosimane or not. Fact we need one of our own to charge of Bafana Bafana and that person MUST be well paid for it. Hugo Broos has also failed dismally with other national teams. It is guys like you that will always look down on their own.
You make compelling arguments for the reasons for Broos salary. Pitso wanting the same salary is not being greedy. He is well within his rights to ask a salary that will satisfy him. This thing of expecting Pitso to be a cheaper option because he is SAn is nuts.

Maybe the real problem isnโt Pitso Mosimane, but a football administration culture that allows confidential matters to become public ammunition. We keep finding ourselves in these debates because insider information is being fed to journalists, leaving fans to speculate, pick sides and fight over issues they donโt actually have all the facts about. If Hugo Broos was earning a certain amount, why would it automatically be โgreedyโ for Pitso Mosimane to expect comparable compensation? Coaches are professionals. Their value, track record and negotiating power matter. Criticise decisions, question SAFA and debate coaching appointments, absolutely. But labelling someone โgreedyโ without knowing the details of the negotiations is unfair.
We must focus on the best coach for the national team and support that candidate Pitso knows our ecosystem our players our structures our league our lack of development structures and he is a proven winner everywhere he went and his SOUTH AFRICAN
