All hostels have been checked, and there are no issues. Traffic has resumed, and the situation is normal. Other matters will be resolved through discussions with the students... Overall, the atmosphere is fine, and any minor issues will be addressed... Please inform the families that all students are safe and there is no cause for concern..."

As per Dean of LPU Sorabh Lakhanpal, "When the students brought this matter to our attention, we decided it needed to be treated seriously. However, as we delved deeper into the issue, we formed the impression that this is entirely rumor-driven. We met the students' demands as they arose; for instance, they wanted to view the CCTV footage. They were shown the footage after a few days, and they also wanted to visit the specific room number they had in mind. We haven't received any concrete information regarding the student's name or hostel details. We have been urging them to file a formal complaint, yet we still showed them the room they wanted to see and repeatedly assured them of our full support—involving the university administration, the police, and the warden—and expressed our readiness to take any necessary action... However, we are realizing that this entire situation is fueled by rumors. The students really need to understand this... I believe that anti-social elements are involved—we strongly suspect a conspiracy on their part... Anti-social elements from outside engaged in vandalism and attempted to disrupt the peaceful academic atmosphere maintained by the students..."

All necessary support will be provided. Five students have been included in the SIT that will conduct the investigation. If the incident is found to be genuine, appropriate legal action will be taken. There were other demands as well, logistical demands, which our administration officials will sit down and discuss. I wasn't even aware of this incident..."
