Devdutt Pattanaik came across as someone who somehow had to wedge in : Brahminism, North-South & Jainism. Embarrassingly for him he couldn’t even do that with a modicum of finesse. Whereas @sanjeevsanyal quoting primary sources cut through the discussion w/a surgeon’s scalpel.

Looks like you haven’t seen the video! @devduttmyth was not live but his was recorded earlier so he couldn’t have argued back to what Sanjeev said. And both have said that India is an Indian origin name that was used by foreigners. Interestingly Hindu was also a name used by same foreigners. And all this happened is due to the pronunciation. So, will you also argue to change the name of Hindu to something else? On a very few points Sanjeev didn’t agreed but on most he agreed. You already have an FIR for spreading fake news then why you keep spreading more.

What a joke the great so called mythologist @devduttmyth has become! Once I used to admire this man! When the debate is about Bharath, but he keeps running around these words caste, Brahminical, aryans etc and no clear thoughts about the subject and this clearly proves who is dividing the country. Sanjeev Sanyal was very well equipped with facts, historical data, and contexts which made Devdutt Pattanaik’s knowledge look really shallow and lacking depth and research. It was like all of Devdutt’s sources are school history books where such information is readily available and to try to fill up that same lack of pedagogy by repeatedly dangling the Brahminical hook, he didn’t at all make the cut. He should really get back to reading better books and treatises.
