What difference does it make when he can’t even get a quorum? He is wasting the time and money of Texans!! Maybe he should do his job as a Republican Representative instead of letting the liberals try to take over Texas!!! Considering Burrows took his sweet time the first half of the session writing rules that no one approved and appointing committees late, he certainly doesn’t have time to waste listening to anyone highlight his failings.

I am not here to defend Speaker Mike Johnson’s choices or his actions. However, when I filed the motion to vacate the previous Speaker, we had a four-seat majority. My sincere worry is that one or two or three of my Republican colleagues would be susceptible to a bribe and will hand the House over to Democrats. That is why I do not support a motion to vacate at this time.
