Great video and very informative. This would be a great video to show the average person to understand how the FCC(gov) controls broadcasting and the distribution of narrative, propaganda, and ultimately power to control the information war.

Just stop killing people you disagree with politically and all will be good.

What the man-boy in pink isn’t telling you is that Kimmels ratings sucked harder than he does and that 160 plus affiliates were pushing back because they’ve had enough of the low viewership. Those local affiliates, your local networks, have been loosing money on advertisers because NO ONE WAS WATCHING.

How come the FCC has never exerted any power over Fox, even after a host voiced his opinion about killing homeless people.

Cool. Now have him talk about how capitalism works. If your ratings are tanking and nobody watches, you aren’t going to get advertisers. Kimmel went the way of Colbert and Stern. Kimmel was always going to get sacked. His lie about the assassin’s politics sped up the process.

I like the technical aspect where he talks so eloquently about radio waves and science and stuff. He’s really mastered the nuances of bandits and things. It’s science! 😵‍💫😵‍💫

Some good context here. Thanks. You gloss over exactly what the FCC did and implied much that it did not do. You also didn’t discuss and what their legal mandate is. Or whether there was a legitimate legal basis for their statement (not action).

FCC did not threaten Sinclair, their customers did. ABC made a business decision, Kimmel been losing money and viewers since 2022. They were not going to renew his contract anyway. This was the perfect excuse to let him go. Duh

He was correct right up until he said Nexstar and Sinclair are bigger than ABC and Disney. That statement alone proved he is a retarded propagandist.

I learned nothing, except the guy has a big monitor. FCC chair purposely did nothing actionable. NexStar and Sinclair acted independently. ABC got their message and said goodbye. Kimmel was losing ABC $20M annually anyway.

This is not applicable to the Kimmel suspension. I’m sure he has a contract, which means that they can’t just fire him. They suspended his show and I bet it’s only going to be temporary. Don’t forget, the only reason why they suspended his show is because he refused to apologize and also stated that he was going to double down on the insults. This was a financial decision by ABC, pure and simple – had he been allowed to continue on his rant. The next night, the potential fallout from that would have been a heavy financial hit.

Fcc had nothing to do with jimmy his ratings suck and he said stupid things and his employer asked him to apologize and he refused so when you are not profitable and to piss your boss off you get fired

So basically the FCC is now a public entity acting on private interests.

FCC had nothing to do with it. Local ABC affiliates contacted ABC and are tired of a Jimmys crap asked to apologize he said no. They said we won’t air his show anymore. As they can’t even sell advertising space during his time slot. He was also negotiating a new contract as well

One point here… Back in the 50’s, TV’s were sold at a higher price because it was new. You paid ONCE and got to watch the 3 channels they had for you. It cost a lot of money to create shows and keep those three channels going so they need a way to make revenue to pay for it. So to keep your television free, they sold advertisements on those three channels to companies for profit. They started doing so well they added more channels and they added more advertisers and that’s how they kept TV viewing free. Now the TVs are cheap as shit and you have to pay for everything, and now you have to pay extra so you don’t see any of the commercials or advertisements. We’ve come full circle.

When the try to move up an go at Sinclair and things…it’s going to be diabolical, mind you greed did this. Doing this, they ain’t done.

I think the video didn’t have anything to do with us paying for the internet they wanted to squeeze some twisted information to make it seem like truth mixed in with actual truth. Jimmy wasn’t kicked off the air by the government.

The interviewer was annoying and breaking his flow of thought unnecessarily. When someone is talking let them finish their thought rather than think of getting sound bites for reels! 😓🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

I DON’T WATCH CHANNEL 7 ANYMORE — NO MORE ABC, NO MORE HULU, NO MORE PARAMOUNT, NO MORE DISNEY. 🚫📺 I REALLY MISS STAR TREK ON PARAMOUNT, AND I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEW SUPERMAN MOVIE, BUT FREEDOM OF SPEECH AND DEMOCRACY ARE MORE IMPORTANT. 🗽🇺🇸 ALL THAT STUFF WILL JUST HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL WE GET THINGS BACK TO NORMAL IN OUR GREAT COUNTRY, AMERICA. 💙🇺🇸

When the "free" information is mostly one sided propaganda there is no benefit to anyone. Try and find opposing viewpoints on free TV it's difficult.
