She was attending Diamond Jubilee Maharashtra State Marathi Film Awards Ceremony ,so it was not wrong from her side to speak in marathi and if someone doesn't know marathi why was he there in a Marathi movies related event?

It seems people did not see her speech. She started with Marathi and later used hindi to complete it. So while the post suggests that she denied speaking in Hindi, it is more that she did not want to repeat what she said during conversation with reporters.

@itsKajolD I don't understand Marathi. It's not a national language, so I need not know it. Can you repeat in English or Hindi. Nevermind it anyways will be useless.

Actually she spoke more Hindi words (like, Vichitra) in Marathi than if she had spoken in Urdufied Hindi (in which case, she wd hv said Ajeeb (Turkic)).

@TeamKajol काजोल नाम काजल शब्द से बना है.. हिन्दी के इस शब्द को मॉडर्न दिखाने के लिए शब्द के साथ "बलात्कार" किया गया.. वह एक बंगाली माँ बाप की औलाद है... बंगला जानना या ना जान पाना व्यक्तिगत इच्छा पर निर्भर करता है.. लेकिन हिन्दी फ़िल्मों में अच्छी हिन्दी बोलने वाले अगर हिन्दी के प्रति इस तरह का सौतेला व्यवहार करे, अनुचित है.. इसलिए, कि.. मनसे का डर... अब फिल्मी दुनिया से दूर होने के कारण? हिन्दी राष्ट्र भाषा जैसी है.. महात्मा गांधी जी ने इसे राष्ट्र भाषा बनाने की मांग की थी.. उससे यह उम्मीद नहीं है.. हिन्दी उनके लिए भी मातृ भाषा जैसी ही है.. वह घर में मराठी बोलते हैं?

तो अब मैडम फिल्म भी अंग्रेजी और मराठी में ही बनाएंगी...
