@KevinHand3 @CambsCC @WriterHannahBT @ChrisGPackham @IoloWilliams2 @DeborahMeaden @Natures_Voice @_BTO @SaveBritishFood @WildlifeTrusts @ukhousemartins @BirdLife_News The only value recognised by @CambsCC “is a single good – the new Holy Grail of a net zero economy – to be attained through bureaucracy & technology, while whatever cannot be calculated – such as the value of life itself, to life – is ignored.” Dr. Curry

@KevinHand3 @CambsCC @WriterHannahBT @ChrisGPackham @IoloWilliams2 @DeborahMeaden @Natures_Voice @_BTO @SaveBritishFood @WildlifeTrusts @ukhousemartins @BirdLife_News Yes, you have to trust the birds will return after spending the winter in a warmer country, but they WILL return! Just imagine when they return to the place they were born and find that their homes have been destroyed for a busway that nobody wants - except builders/councillors!

Even if their village homes remain, the insects they need to feed on won’t be as plentiful without the orchard. And without insects there is no us either.

@msmolner It’s been a wonderful summer learning about them. I will miss their chatter come September when they leave.

@KevinHand3 @CambsCC @WriterHannahBT @ChrisGPackham @IoloWilliams2 @DeborahMeaden @Natures_Voice @_BTO @SaveBritishFood @WildlifeTrusts @ukhousemartins @BirdLife_News I know this might be a bit radical, but why don't @CambsCC not build this mad bus lane and spend the money funding solar panels on homes across the city. Would save far more CO2, help Net Zero target, reduce energy bills & be a biodiversity net gain, not a biodiversity wipeout🤔
