Having sat for four and a half hours waiting to speak on one of my amendments to the Assisted Dying Bill, we ran out of time. So I at least grabbed a moment at the end to challenge Charlie Faulkner on his insistence that the Mental Capacity Act is a tried and trusted method of proving capacity to ask the state to end your life. This is so dangerous. My Mum, with dementia, was judged to have capacity in relation to treatments. Fair enough. But even if she had capacity to give consent in the moment to her own, state-sanctioned death, she would have forgotten it five minutes later. This Bill isn't safe and neither are its sponsors. Lord Faulkner completely misinterpreted me. Grrr. More next Friday.

I honestly thought I'd have more time before this post. The community absolutely demolishe the launch goal, so Patch 8.0 is officially live. The support for EUI from you all has been amazing and i'm incredibly thankful Raid frames, standalone addons, multi language support, a massively upgraded profile/preset system, and a mountain of customization additions, bugfixes and improvements across the entire suite. The past 6 months have been some of the most challenging, stressful, and rewarding months of my life.
