Watching live I thought this was just an overthrow by Hurts. Watching it back I think he is trying to throw it up field a little more to get it over the flat defender since the CB turns and runs in an inverted C2 look. Brown could probably do...

If he doesn’t I’m not sure it is completed but it has a much better chance to be a TD. But no question him slowing up was a big reason why it wasn’t completed. ** Hurts holds onto the ball a tick longer than he should have, a theme in the game. I don’t think that is why it is incomplete but it didn’t help. ** I think AJ slowed up because he felt the ball wasn’t coming since he was already so far down the field and it hadn’t been thrown yet. To me that is probably the result of frustration from that happening a lot this season as opposed to solely on this play. ** Bottom line is this has to be a TD. This isn’t a backup QB to a No. 3 WR. I tried watching today's NBA and thought my TV was glitching... turns out it was just another guy taking a 6-step vacation to the hoop. Back in the day, you took two steps and that was it-now they're out here packing a suitcase, grabbing snacks, and still getting an AND-ONE. And don't even get me started on carrying the ball. These guys are palming it like they're holding a newborn baby-rocking it, cradling it, probably naming it before they pass it. 🏀😂

This is disgusting. The Eagles run a shallow cross concept over the middle of the field where the best option is Dallas Goedert running right into Quay Walker. Nothing else is an option because everybody else is just jogging out nothing. The protection is far too good to take a sack here and Hurts needs to find a way to get the ball out (dirt it at Goederts feet, get out of the pocket and throw it away, etc.) but this is gross.
