@lesleys20 Meanwhile in Scotland, water is nationalised, quality is excellent, more beaches graded excellent for bathing than ever, investment in infrastructure vastly outstrips England, and +90% of outflows of 'untreated sewage' are not untreated toilet effluent but rainwater overflows.

@belanisiya Privatisation is a con. This excellent video could be applied to any of the former state owned industries, all that would be different is the private investors. The business models are the same.

This is incredibly powerful but also so incredibly depressing. It is the sense of powerlessness to stop this sort of activity - not just the polluting but investors being able to strip us bare and leave us holding the problem
