Thomas Young's double-slit experiment, performed in 1801, is one of the most important demonstrations in physics. It provided strong evidence that light behaves as a wave by producing interference patterns. In the experiment, coherent light is directed at an opaque barrier with two closely spaced slits. I finally got around to watching Sabine's double slit video and I wasn't impressed. She starts by claiming there's nothing special about the double slit experiment while downplaying the results, but then contradicts herself by admitting no one can explain how the faster than light update 'spooky action' occurs. Sabine ends the video by saying people should study this. Yeah, people like her. The answer to the double slit experiment is that everything is connected all the time via an invisible extra dimension of energy. The Dirac Sea. The Aether.

Magnesium is the likely mechanism by which mitochondria make UV light inside the body that synthesizes Vitamin D. When an excited electron in the 3s3p¹P₁ shell relaxes back into 3s²¹S₀ it releases a photon of light at nearly 280nm. That's the same wavelength that corresponds to a absorption peak in 7DHC (provitamin D) and converts it to a new molecule called previtamin D. This interaction explains how 10 sessions of whole-body cyrotherapy could boost the blood-serum levels on Vitamin D in 15 Polish women with multiple sclerosis. The cold induces thermogenesis, which is the production of light inside the body. Some of that light is in the UVB range -- at 280nm in particular, which converts 7DHC to previtamin D. The 7DHC is present in the brown fat cells making the UV light because it is an intermediary step in cholesterol synthesis, which brown fat do. By this mechanism, cold thermogenesis makes UV light inside the body for producing Vitamin D in the winter, when UV light from the sun is absent from higher latitudes.
