My Tesla drives me anywhere with the press of a button on the screen. So many people have no idea, but autonomy is here. If you have a Tesla, you don't need to drive if you don't want to. The data already proves that Tesla FSD is 8x safer than humans at driving. Eight cameras and the best real-world Al are watching the roads to keep you safe at all times. It can even predict human driver movements before you do, almost like it sees the future. It's so smart. Driving in the future will essentially just become a niche thing.

It's wild that people post videos of themselves blatantly breaking the law like this. Look, obviously, the idea of being able to do something else, like work, while driving is extremely appealing, but you just can't do it like that. Tesla FSD v14 is extremely impressive, but the best data we have right now points to a critical intervention every ~2,000 miles on average. Human drivers crash about every ~400,000 miles on average. You will hurt yourself, or God forbid, someone else, if you keep doing this, as you won't be able to intervene properly. I know some don't believe because they blindly believe Tesla's claim that "FSD is 10x safer than human drivers", but that's the most misleading claim ever. First off, the data is cherry-picked. I do believe that driving on FSD is safer than driving without, but closer to a factor 3x based on the best, not-Tesla-massaged, data. But more importantly, that's 3x safer than FSD plus human. Not just FSD. It is safer because it is supervised by a human paying attention and correcting the system when needed. If you use it like this guy, you are not safer. Period.

Idc if you like Donald J. Trump or not the man is a father, a husband, a human being. He’s never harmed you. If you’re one of the people who think what happened yesterday is okay or “he deserved it” you’re a sick person, and need help. Even my kids know that in a world full of Tesla Robotaxis, Waymo is dunzo. It’s really not that complicated. Waymo needs expensive LiDAR, radar, cameras, specialized hardware, detailed maps, and a massive amount of infrastructure just to operate in certain areas. Tesla’s approach is completely different. Cameras are cheap. Tesla can mass-produce vehicles at a scale Waymo can’t come close to, use the same AI system across millions of cars, collect massive amounts of real-world driving data, and improve the entire fleet through software updates. That’s where the economics become almost impossible to compete with. The cheaper you can build the car, the cheaper you can operate it, and the more vehicles you can put on the road, the cheaper you can eventually make every ride. Waymo might prove Robotaxis can work. Tesla’s goal is to make them cheap enough and build enough of them to be everywhere. That’s the difference people still don’t understand. This isn’t just about who has the better Robotaxi today. It’s about who can build millions of them, drive down the cost per mile, and scale across the world. Even my kids understand the end game. Tesla Robotaxis are going to be everywhere. In the world where Tesla Robotaxis are flooded all around the world, it will very difficult for Waymo to survive.

This is the sad state of news these days. Today, a Waymo car crashed into another Waymo, but the media hasn't covered it at all. I've seen no articles. If this were two Tesla Robotaxis, it would be all over the news. Negative headlines against Tesla generate clicks. Ones about Waymo don’t as much, so most of the media doesn’t bother to write about it. Is this crash the end of the world? Absolutely not. But the media would certainly paint it that way if it were Tesla Robotaxis. Nonetheless, the work toward a safer driverless future presses on.
