We all need to be realistic about the Russian system. They have mobilized all forces in order not to lose the territory they have seized in Ukraine, but they have also contaminated their own territory with such a level of hatred and degradation that events in Russia have spun...

@ChrisJustice01 I feel awful for Zelenskyy trying to save his country with the conservatives in the US trying their best to stop the US from giving his country the support they so desperately need.

There are many cracks in the Russian resolve, and eventually it will collapse upon itself. They're running out of people to blame, it's only a matter of time before they decide it's their government. In the meantime some Taurus would be pretty nice

We all need to be realistic about the Ukrainian system. Ukraine was overthrown in a 2014 coup. Neo-Naz1s have been in power ever sense. The only path to victory in this conflict for Ukraine and its sponsors was the removal of Putin, which will not happen. Countless Ukrainians are sacrificing their lives for a lost cause.

We must also be united in fighting #Russian propaganda, a pervasive, toxic, corrosive influence in the world, and ever-present in the comments to your posts. It's another weapon #Russia deploys in its hybrid war against Ukraine and all democracies.

We had a frozen conflict in the east of Ukraine for years after Russia’s occupation of Crimea in 2014. We tried to speak with Russia. But we heard nothing but lies from them. No truth. We can’t trust them. They just want to destroy and kill all of us. In 2022 we saw them attack us again. And this wasn’t just war, but terrorism. Clear terrorism. They killed not only the army, but people. They committed horrible atrocities. Russia must leave our territory. After that the world can switch to diplomacy. And our Peace Formula provides a good opportunity for that. What is the alternative? To give Putin the possibility to kill all of us? To destroy our nation and all that we have? This is not only a matter of Ukraine. This is a matter of security in Europe. The matter of NATO unity. Because after Ukraine, Russia will attack NATO countries. Some people say the alternative is to give Putin what he wants and stop the war. What does that mean? Giving him 30 percent of our land? What to do with the people in the temporary occupied territories? Or with the thousands of people who have been killed by Putin and his army? Forget about them? No accountability? No tribunal? I know what to do. We have to be strong. I believe that European countries and the United States believe in our power, our humanity, our attitude toward people and democracy. The alternative is to give a pass to autocrats, give a chance to tyranny, give them the opportunity to destroy democracy and the world. I don’t see any alternative to Ukrainian victory. And I do believe in the unity of the world and its support for Ukraine and democracy. I do believe and trust our people and our warriors. We are returning home with a good result for our country, and very importantly, for our warriors. A good reinforcement with weapons. It is very important: for the first time since independence, we have formed a security foundation for Ukraine on its way to NATO. These are concrete security guarantees that are confirmed by the top 7 democracies in the world. Never before have we had such a security foundation, and this is the level of the G7. On this foundation, we will build a new, legally binding architecture of bilateral security treaties with the most powerful countries. Very importantly, during these two days of the Summit, we have put to rest any doubts and ambiguities about whether Ukraine will be in NATO. It will! For the first time, not only do all Allies agree on this, but a significant majority in the Alliance is vigorously pushing for it. Never before have the words "you are equal among equals" for Ukraine from other NATO members sounded truly meaningful. Now everyone understands that this is a fact. Equal among equals. And we will definitely reaffirm this fact with our victory. And with our accession to NATO. Previously, Russia's rulers wanted to have their own fence in front of NATO's door. We have left this Russian ambition on the margins of European history – behind the fence of our unity in Europe and, more broadly, in the free world. I am grateful to all those who have worked for unity in Vilnius now!

“putin started the war and is the only person who can end it.” - Vitali Klitschko, current Mayor of Kyiv. “One person in the world can stop this war. The same person who started this war. I'm talking about the President of Russia, putin. putin can easily stop this senseless war. And Russians accept just strong position. If you’re weak, they never ever pay attention to you. And that’s why we have to be strong on the frontline, we have to be strong inside the country, we have to be strong together with our partners. Why? Because with partners, we are times stronger. And that way it's very important, unity around Ukraine. Unity for the democratic world, for a European country, stability of one of the largest countries in Europe can bring stability in the whole region, and that way from peace in Ukraine depends the future of Europe. I hope everyone understands that. We are fighting and defending not just our homeland, we are defending every one of you. This will be the biggest mistake to see the war as far away. It doesn't touch me personally, it's the biggest mistake. This war actually touched everyone in Ukraine, millions of people. Already touched a lot of people in Europe. And also, it's not secret, the goal, goal of putin is to rebuild the Soviet Empire. They never accept Ukraine as an independent country. They told Ukraine was always part of the Russian Empire. Exactly the same about Baltic countries, about Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia.” (TVP World)

‼️JUST NOW — powerful brief remarks by the leaders of Ukraine, the UK, France, and Germany in London: IN SHORT: Merz: “The coming days could be decisive for all of us. The destiny of this country is the destiny of Europe. Nobody should doubt our support for Ukraine. And this is what we are firmly standing behind. I'm skeptical about some of the details which we are seeing in the documents coming from the U.S. side.” Macron: "I think we have a lot of cards in our hands." Zelenskyy: "Our team came back, and I think that they will brief us about the last talks with Americans and after talks of Americans with Russians." Starmer: "If there's to be a ceasefire, it needs to be a just and lasting ceasefire. Matters about Ukraine are for Ukraine." FULL STATEMENTS: UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer: "But the principles remain, the principles that we've operated on for a very, very long time, which is that we stand with Ukraine, and if there's to be a ceasefire, it needs to be a just and lasting ceasefire. And that's why it's so important, that we repeatedly set out the principle forward that matters about Ukraine are for Ukraine. And we stand here to support you in the conflict and support you in the negotiations and make sure that this is a just and lasting settlement if we can get that far. You're very welcome for our discussions". President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy: "Thank you very much, Kir. Thank you for organizing this meeting. Thank you, friends, Emmanuel and Friedrich, and thank you for our joint meeting. I think that it is very important now to organize such a meeting and discuss very sensitive issues regarding these talks that we had, in the United States and between us. Our team came back, and I think that they will brief us about the last talks with Americans and after talks of Americans with Russians. I think there are lot of what we have to discuss and speak about. So there are a lot of things which are very important for today. I think, unity between Europe and Ukraine, and also unity between Europe, Ukraine, and the U.S. There are some things which we can't manage without Americans, things which we can't manage without Europe, and that's why we need to make some important decisions". President of France Emmanuel Macron: "And thank you Volodymyr for being with us. You are always welcome. In France, I think we all support Ukraine, and we all support peace. And peace negotiations to have sustainable, robust peace. And I think we have a lot of cards in our hands. The financing and the quality of equipments and training programs to Ukraine, the fact that Ukraine is resisting in this war, and the fact that the Russian economy is starting to suffer, especially after our latest sanctions and the US sanctions. And now I think the main issue is the convergence between our common positions, Europeans and Ukrainians, and the U.S. to finalize these, peace negotiations and re-engage in a new phase in the best possible conditions for Ukraine, for the Europeans, and for our collective security". Chancellor of Germany Friedrich Merz: "I highly appreciate that we are having the opportunity to see you, Volodymyr, together with Emmanuel, and talking about the upcoming days, because this could be a decisive time for all of us. We are trying to continue our support for Ukraine, as you know. On the other hand, we are seeing these talks and negotiations in Moscow and in the U.S. I'm looking forward to hear from you what the outcome of these talks might be. And we are still and remain strongly behind Ukraine and giving support to your country, because we all know that the destiny of this country is the destiny of Europe. So that's the reason why we are here, trying to figure out what we can do. And nobody should doubt on our support for Ukraine. And this is what we are firmly standing behind. And the outcome is open. I'm skeptical about some of the details which we are seeing in the documents coming from the U.S. side, but we have to talk about that. That's why we are here".
