Trump wants Putin to end the war in Ukraine faster. That would make it easier for the US to fight against Iran. 'I had a very good conversation with President Putin. There were many people on the line from both our side and his side. We talked about Ukraine, where there's an endless struggle going on. I think it was a positive conversation on this issue. Then, of course, we talked about the Middle East. And he wants to be helpful. I said: 'You could be much more helpful if the war between Ukraine and Russia ended' - that would really be more helpful. I tried...it's an observed data point...Zim prices relative to SA seem wild. If we were to be scientific , we'd need to compare to wilder places on our continent , Kenya, Kinshasa and we'd moderate our views. At the end of the day the market intercepts at a price the seller finds utility and the buyer value. We can't imagine everyone has suddenly lost it ?

As a millennial, I don’t think we fully realize the power we hold yet. The average age in America is 38. That means if millennials really showed up, we could flip the scales in politics. In Black communities especially, we have to work the soil of politics to turn out our generation if we want to see the harvest in our lifetime. If we’re up to bat, we need to be clear about the kind of leaders we’re calling for. We have to have hard and honest conversations with each other. Too often, we’ve looked for leadership in a certain package or personality. But in this climate, we need leaders who are strategic and willing to fight for the best interest of the people. “Nice” leadership has given us the results we see today. Quite apart from that, perception is not really, in my opinion, the main source of our knowledge. The role of perception is to inform us about a momentary situation in our environment. So we have two kinds of knowledge: this wider knowledge of a frame in which we orientate ourselves, and the momentary perception which gives us information about the situation at that particular moment. This wasn't "the white man". This wasn't racism. This wasn't the system. This was black people harming black people. We have a serious problem. The same energy we would have if it was a group of white people doing this to a black mom and her child is the same energy we need to have now. Those children need to be held accountable and parents need to be doing a MUCH better job. This is completely unacceptable. We need to be more accountable and make better decisions. Our standard is FAR TOO LOW.
