We are approaching a territory where it feels like there could be a superstar shortage in the UFC. With many of the top names in their late 30s, we are nearing a new era.

Aspinall, Pereira, DDP, Ilia, Islam are all great champions. I’d say this is the strongest set of champs they’ve had in a while. There will never be another Conor so take him out of the comparisons. He was a unicorn.

It will be exciting 😬 The next international break is just around the corner. In the individual continents, the countries are battling it out for participation in the 2026 World Cup. Follow all the matches live with us. Try Soccer Bot™:

Dana will build a few new stars. Khamzat will be in a title fight this year. O'Malley should get another shot. Problem is guys like Belal and DDP are not marketable. Aspinall is, but hes being censored by Jones.

Events do not feel as big as they used to be. Jones/Conor/GSP/Rousey/Silva/Lesnar No more. Most PPV’s just don’t have ‘it.’

There isn’t a single champion who makes want to pay for a PPV. A lot of great fighters but no Aura and no charisma.. weakest ufc roster in a long time

Definitely a shortage

Absolute facts! UFC has talent but zero young stars.

There's this star.

Cool thing about MMA is you don’t need stars. They help sure but people watch UFC for the brand. They’re always gonna be new champions and fans will follow the champs whomever it is

I felt like this about 2 years ago. Now we have some stellar champions like Pereira and Aspinall and Topuria, I think the issue we're going to run into is that these guys are so dominant... there's no rivalries like there used to be. Some of these champs seem too good

What are you taking about? The UFC will always have someone come along as a superstar. Ilia is how old? O’Malley is still there. Aspinal is only 31. Khamzat 30. There are people, and someone always makes their way to the top. Ilia would have never been looked at like this in 2022
