The #COP30 Leaders’ Summit delivered a resounding call – that we must take collective, urgent and scaled up action to protect our global community from the threats that #ClimateChange pose to people’s lives and health. I thank @Cop30noBrasil and President Lula for partnering with World Health Organization (WHO) to ensure the protection and promotion of public health is at the heart of the climate agenda. This critical summit has provided the direction needed for the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Belèm to take bolder steps and increase investments so we can turn the tide on the climate crisis and build resilient communities able to withstand the shocks linked to warming of our planet.
