We are horrified. Over Easter weekend, about 71 people likely drowned in the Mediterranean. Yesterday, our aircraft Seabird 2 spotted an overturned wooden boat: ~15 people clinging desperately to the hull, others in the water, and some lifeless bodies. 📽️ Fabian Melber

Hundreds of people were thrown into a fight for survival as a passenger ferry capsized at sea, leaving men, women, and children clinging to the overturned vessel and struggling in the water as rescuers race to reach them. At least eight people have died and about 20 remain missing after the ferry, carrying 267 passengers and crew, began taking on water off the coast of Cyprus. Among the missing are two young siblings. Their mother says she desperately held onto her daughter in the water before losing her grip. Nine people have been detained as authorities investigate what caused the ferry to sink, while families desperately wait for word on those still missing.

I understand the interest in #titanicsub. Something to also think about: The scene now at the tiny fishing harbour of El Lousa, #Tunisia. Boat capsized with 40 people. 11 drowned. Bodies arriving into port. Happening almost everyday. Pictures to follow

There are 2 big mistakes in life: 1. Worrying about what other people think about you. 2. Believing that other people think about you in the first place. Harsh Truth: Most people don’t care about you. The Spotlight Effect says that we overestimate the degree to which other people are noticing our actions or behaviors. This is liberating—stop worrying about what others think, do you, and live according to your values.

Isn’t it nice to see people openly advocating for others to abuse the system. They are just the people we want in our Country.

[WATCH] We have some water issues here in Giyani which are being fixed. We are attending to this challenge. Our councillors when they go explain to the people what the ANC has done we are not explaining theory, we are talking about facts and what we mean when we say building better communities together. We must fight crime amongst others, and work together with the police, our Mayirs and councillors must create committees which will assist in the protection of our communities. #ANCinLimpopo #VOTEANC2026

Easter holidays are over now, many people are on the road while others are in the sky. Now, to those that are familiar with flying, what place is this one?

Never go to deep water, if you do not know swimming. Many people have drowned in the river. The rivers in Arunachal Pradesh are huge and very deep.

ALERT: 15 hikers are missing, and 2 people have died due to flash flooding at Grand Canyon National Park. More than 60 people had to be evacuated from the park, and 15 people are still missing. 2 bodies have been recovered as the search continues, and no overnight camping is allowed. The park service says the main waterline that supplies the area with water suffered “extensive damage,” and that “significant water conservation measures " are in place to ensure available supplies can be maintained.

The days of the old Republican Party that wants to fund foreign wars and murder people in foreign lands while they stab the American people in the face are over! The American people do not want an economy built on people’s blood and dead bodies in foreign countries.

[WATCH] The informal settlements which our people stay in, it is the responsibility of local government to service our people and put in electricity and water. Over 90% of our homes have access to electricity. The apartheid government only gave electricity to a few areas which only white people stayed in. We have come a long and more needs to be done but we are working and our people can see it. #MbaksOntheGround #VoteANC2026 #LetsBuildBetterCommunities

A migrant boat sank off the coast of Libya leaving multiple people stranded in open water, clinging to each other and a yellow flotation device while waving desperately at a nearby fishing vessel. The fishing boat circled the area but never pulled anyone aboard - the crew reportedly feared being overwhelmed and having their vessel hijacked to continue toward Europe. This is the reality of what’s happening in the Mediterranean on a near daily basis. People risking everything to make a crossing that has claimed thousands of lives, and the boats that could help them choosing to keep their distance out of fear. What’s one possible solution? There are no easy answers here.
