Update on Transmission Pipeline Repairs at Outering Road We wish to inform our customers that repair works on the damaged transmission pipeline along Outering Road are progressing, with only a small section remaining to be completed. Unfortunately, the ongoing heavy rains have significantly hampered operations, particularly across the river section. Due to safety concerns for our staff and equipment, we were forced to halt all further works at approximately 10:00 PM last night. We anticipate resuming and completing the remaining repairs later today, weather permitting. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the disruption in water supply. In the meantime, customers are strongly encouraged to order water through our bowser delivery service by dialing *260# and selecting Option 5. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we work to restore normal supply as quickly and safely as possible.

As Tropical Storm Lee continues to move slowly across the province, parts of Nova Scotia are experiencing wind gusts that can make conditions hazardous for our crews. When wind speeds are over 80km an hour, it isn’t safe for our crews to be up in the buckets and so we focus on assessing damage, responding to 911 calls, and restoring power from the ground where possible. In some parts of the province, we anticipate that these significant winds will continue for much of today. We do our best to give an estimate of when power will be restored.
