🥺💔We are so incredibly destroyed by the disappointment that was this ceasefire; in fact I'm not sure if there was even a moment in time that we felt safe, not even for one minute, and the bombing and violence has returned even closer and more destructive than ever. The... situation we stand in remains as dire as ever, and every day we get closer to the most horrific and miserable death that anyone can imagine - that is, to slowly starve to death in front of the world. It's painful to walk around and video the suffering people - they were once proud and esteemed individuals who likely had a prosperous job and a home to live in - now reduced to begging and crying on the streets for cameras who will only humiliate them in front of the world. I show you what I can, my friends, because I want people to know that we are here, trying to live and trying to help others live too, but I am always conscious of the people who are being shown, because going through this is miserable enough. 🫂It's a terrifying feeling, my friends, to have a spark of hope while you are also fighting the certainty of your own death and of everyone you hold dear. It breaks my heart to see the animals who look so sickly thin on the streets, the cats and dogs who have survived for so long, only to starve. How much longer will this seige be placed on us? Until every living thing has died? Bombed or burnt to death to become someone's nightmare or starved until we are only skeletons? I'm sorry to bring you such a heavy update today, my friends, but I am feeling desolate and I am feeling very hopeless too, seeing so many desperate and starving families living in tents has broken my heart. We need aid, more than anyone has ever needed anything, and we need aid so I do not have to watch my beautiful children turn into bones in front of my eyes. Please stand by me, stand by us, I beg you. Stand by us until this horror has ended, so we can repay all the beautiful things you have done for us. I wanted to tell you we are working daily to distribute food and water for the camp, and we do this even when I do not mention it in my updates. These poor people rely on us to help them survive, and we wish we could do more for them in these cruel and miserable times. It is awful to see the horrific pictures of people living in tents who have nothing to save them from a bomb or a fire. 💔It was the worst night yet, the shooting at our homes lasted the entire night, and bombs dropped continously nearby. I am not doing well, my friends. We are dying faster than at any other point in time. Everything is hard to come by, food, fuel, supplies, it is all becoming rarer every day. Food for animals is almost non-existent, cats are eating things that are not good for them, and dogs are stuck with whatever can be found for them. 🫂It is only with your generosity and support that we can even distribute food and water that keeps the poor people at the camp alive, and I hope you will continue to support us so that we can work for as long as necessary, my friends. Without your support, I fear what will happen to us all, and the situation that we will be left in. Please help if you can, we are so very desperate to survive this nightmare. I am so grateful for everything you have done for us so far, and I hope one day soon I will not need to beg you, and that we can live a normal life, free from this horror and terror that fills our lives with hell.. 🤒😭Unfortunately I am very unwell, my friends. I have not been feeling my best the past couple of days, and I have been growing more tired every minute. Last night was miserable, I was in so much pain I could not sleep, the pain in my head and in my body was causing me hallucinations and I felt as though I would die. This morning was not any better and I was so dizzy I could not see properly, and I felt so tired I could not describe it. I have just returned from the hospital, my friends, where I was able to receive a treatment to help me feel only a little better. I am still so exhausted, not only physically but mentally too. The fear of famine and death in a horrific way is still on my mind, even through this terrible pain. I'd be very grateful if you could pray for us all, for a better situation ahead, and for an end to this cruelty against us. Please support us and continue to help us via our fundraisers so we can continue to distribute aid, my friends. 🙏😢My friends, it brings me sadness to share the same updates from 🇵🇸💔#Gaza with you every day, but the situation only continues to get worse every day. The bombing is constant, it goes on day and night, and we are so very tired and hopeless. We are not just physically tired, it is like our souls are tired, and every day we spend every moment waiting and wondering if this day will be our last. It’s a feeling very hard to describe. The only respite we get from these suffocating emotions is when we are able to give the gift of helping others. We fired up the oven again, and today, we served a variation of breads to the hungry families we delivered them to. We made flatbreads, bread with oil and thyme, and also bread with red peppers. The joy of helping others is indescribable at this time, my friends. It is like a jolt of hope that lightens our hearts. The animals and the people living in tents are going through the worst, my dear friends, and I want to help them as much as I can. Will you please help me to do this by donating to my fundraisers and sharing my post? And will you please support my family and I, and the 🐈#cats via my own fundraiser? 🐾😸I'm happy to tell you that today I was able to buy more tinned tuna for the cats, and the cost was the lowest it's been in months. This is thanks to the wonderful friends who have continued their support for us, and I want to sincerely thank you all. I can't explain enough how wonderful it feels when I can feed more of the hungry cats I see around. Since the war stopped, many animals have wandered back into our streets, and they are starving and urgently need our help. They are constantly on my mind, especially at night in the cold. They barely have any body fat to keep them warm, and the nights are starting to become unbearably cold. This also makes me think of all the poor people living outside, some in tents and some without, freezing and hungry. We want to help them, my friends, please do not hesitate to donate towards our cause so we can help them and the animals too.
