This reminds me of my Nani, well into her 90s. Every time I visited, she’d pull out that little potli… and somehow, she always had money to press into my hands. It was never about the amount... it was her way of saying, “I see you, I love you, I’m still giving.” Grandmothers have a language of love that doesn’t need words.

This totally made me cry, man. Dadis are love.

My dadi loves me so much that when I left my hometown for further studies, both my mom and dadi cried🥹 and she told me to call her daily...🫶 (which is quite not possible, but I do whenever I get time❤️)
