Tencent presents GameGen-O Open-world Video Game Generation We introduce GameGen-O, the first diffusion transformer model tailored for the generation of open-world video games. This model facilitates high-quality, open-domain generation by simulating a wide array of game engine features, such as innovative characters, dynamic environments, complex actions, and diverse events. Additionally, it provides interactive controllability, thus allowing for the gameplay simulation. The development of GameGen-O involves a comprehensive data collection and processing effort from scratch. We collect and build the first Open-World Video Game Dataset (OGameData), amassed extensive data from over a hundred of next-generation open-world games, employing a proprietary data pipeline for efficient sorting, scoring, filtering, and decoupled captioning. This robust and extensive OGameData forms the foundation of our model's training process. GameGen-O undergoes a two-stage training process, consisting of foundation model pretraining and instruction tuning. In the first phase, the model is pre-trained on the OGameData via the text-to-video and video continuation, endowing GameGen-O with the capability for open-domain video game generation. In the second phase, the pre-trained model is frozen, and we fine-tuned using a trainable InstructNet, which enables the production of subsequent frames based on multimodal structural instructions. This whole training process imparts the model with the ability to generate and interactively control content. In summary, GameGen-O represents a notable initial step forward in the realm of open-world video game generation via generative models. It underscores the potential of generative models to serve as an alternative to rendering techniques, which can efficiently combine creative generation with interactive capabilities.

This is probably the most complex workflow I’ve ever built, only with open-source tools. It took my 4 days. It takes four inputs: author, title, and style; and generates a full visual animated story in one click in ComfyUI . I worked on it for four days. There are still some bugs, but here’s the first preview. Here’s a quick breakdown: - The four inputs are sent to LLMs with precise instructions to generate: first, prompts for images and image modifications; second, prompts for animations; third, prompts for generating music. - All voices are generated from the text and timed precisely, as they determine the length of each animation segment. - The first image and video are generated to serve as the title, but also as the guide for all other images created for the video. - Titles and subtitles are also added automatically in Comfy. - I also developed a lot of custom nodes for minor frame calculations, mostly to match audio and video. - The full system is a large loop that, for each line of text, generates an image and then a video from that image. The loop was the hardest part to build in this workflow, so it can process either a 20-second video or a 2-minute video with the same input. - There are multiple combinations of LLMs that try to understand the text in the best way to provide the best prompts for images and video. - The final video is assembled entirely within ComfyUI. - The music is generated based on the LLM output and matches the exact timing of the full animation. - Done! For reference, this workflow uses a lot of models and only works on an RTX 6000 Pro with plenty of RAM. My goal is not to replace humans, as I’ll try to explain later, this workflow is highly controlled and can be adapted or reworked at any point by real artists! My aim was to create a tool that can animate text in one go, allowing the AI some freedom while keeping a strict flow. I don’t know yet how I’ll share this workflow with people, I still need to polish it properly, but maybe through Patreon. Anyway, I hope you enjoy my research, and let’s always keep pushing further! :)

Want to create an avatar from a single image? FlexAvatar is a transformer model that creates full 360°, high-quality, and expressive 3D head avatar from just a single portrait image in minutes. Real-time Demo: FlexAvatar's lightweight architecture allows both animation and rendering in real-time, enabling interactive user experiences. To create a new 3D head avatar, only one image is required, e.g., from a webcam. The final avatar is ready after 2 minutes. Architecture: Under the hood, FlexAvatar adopts a transformer-based encoder-decoder design. The encoder maps the input image onto a latent avatar space, while the decoder produces 3D Gaussian attribute maps by incorporating the animation signal via cross-attention. The model learns all facial animations directly from the data without relying on pre-built 3D face models. This equips the avatars with realistic facial expressions. The internal avatar latent space can be conveniently used to integrate additional observations of a person via fitting. This enables use-cases where more than one image of a person is available, e.g., from a phone scan of the person. We train jointly on 2D monocular videos and multi-view data. However, in monocular videos, the animation signal leaks the target viewpoint, causing the model to produce incomplete 3D heads. We call this phenomenon entanglement of driving signal and target viewpoint. To prevent entanglement, we introduce bias sinks. These are learnable tokens that indicate whether a training sample stems from a monocular or a multi-view dataset. During training, the model learns to produce incomplete 3D heads only when the monocular token is present. During inference, FlexAvatar then always uses the multi-view token for which the model has learned to produce complete 3D heads. This simple design allows to combine the generalizability from monocular data with the quality of multi-view data. FlexAvatar summary: - Input: Single-image, phone scan, or monocular video - Output: Full 360° head avatar - Expressive animations - Real-time rendering and animation - Generalization to any portrait - Create a new avatar in 2 minutes - Use bias sinks to combine 2D and 3D data 🏠 🌍 🎥 Great work by Tobias Kirschstein and Simon Giebenhain!

Check out our #PAMI paper with code "Dense Continuous-Time Optical Flow from Event Cameras," where we show how to regress *continuous-time* trajectories of every pixel from event cameras alone or events plus frames! The key idea is to iteratively estimate per-pixel polynomials using a recurrent lookup and update scheme. Paper: Code: DOI: We present a method for estimating dense continuous-time optical flow from event data. Traditional dense optical flow methods compute the pixel displacement between two images. Due to missing information, these approaches cannot recover the pixel trajectories in the blind time between two images. We show that it is possible to compute per-pixel, continuous-time optical flow using events from an event camera. Events provide temporally fine-grained information about movement in pixel space due to their asynchronous nature and microsecond response time. We leverage these benefits to predict pixel trajectories densely in continuous time via parameterized Bézier curves. To achieve this, we build a neural network with strong inductive biases for this task: First, we build multiple sequential correlation volumes in time using event data. Second, we use Bézier curves to index these correlation volumes at multiple timestamps along the trajectory. Third, we use the retrieved correlation to update the Bézier curve representations iteratively. Our method can optionally include image pairs to boost performance further. To train and evaluate our model, we introduce a synthetic dataset (MultiFlow) that features moving objects and ground truth trajectories for every pixel. Our quantitative experiments suggest that our method successfully predicts pixel trajectories in continuous time and is competitive in the traditional two-view pixel displacement metric on MultiFlow and DSEC-Flow. Open source code and datasets are released to the public. Kudos to Mathias Gehrig Manasi Muglikar

GM! Thanks for sticking with me through these long posts as we dive into the complexities of Kaidro. Today, let's talk about the development of our animation series. We haven't discussed this much because it's quite detailed. Where are we with the animation series development? It's a complex answer because our IP spans multiple mediums. Here's a simplified breakdown: - Learning from Anime: Like popular series such as "Fullmetal Alchemist," "Naruto," and "One Piece," where manga serves as the storyboard for anime, we've taken a similar approach but with a twist. - Starting with the end in mind: We began by creating 3-D assets in Unreal Engine 5 for our Webtoons and print manga. This choice allows us to use the same high-quality assets for cinematic TV, movies, and games, reducing costs and enhancing consistency. - Asset Reuse: By developing assets once for high-quality output, we can use them across comics, games, and animations. This method, similar to what was done in "Arcane," involves hand-painting over 3-D models for a unique look. - Cost and Efficiency: This approach isn't common due to its difficulty and the need for story consistency. However, it allows for smarter production, echoing the methods of visionaries like Disney and Hanna-Barbera, ensuring we can sustain and grow our IP like Pokémon. Current Status: - Pre-production: We're well into preproduction, with story development, storyboards, color scripts, and asset creation nearly complete. This groundwork usually takes years but we're ahead. This is because what I listed above are the mangas. Each manga counts as two episodes. And because each of those are fully developed, we have all the information we need to develop an episode. - Production Timeline: We're set to move into full production in 2025. Post our animation lock-up system with the community we am to go into full production after that in January. - Quality and Speed: An example of our efficiency is the cinematic for December 18th, where we reused game assets for backgrounds, finishing 43 scenes in just a month, which is exceptionally fast. Why This Matters: - For Investors and Community: This strategy not only reduces costs but also extends the life and reach of Kaidro, ensuring long-term success. We're significantly further in our animation development than most Web3 projects, maintaining high quality while pushing boundaries. Our hyper focus is on the production pipeline to allow for the anime to come to life. LFG $KDR

This is THE moment of Physical AI! We are officially announcing Cosmos 3: Omnimodal World Models for Physical AI 🚀 - Cosmos 3 is an omnimodal world model: within a unified architecture, it can understand and generate language, images, video, audio, and actions. - It is not just a VLM, not just a video generator, not just an audio-visual generative model, and not just a physics simulator / world-action model. It can understand images and videos, generate images, videos, and audio, simulate future worlds, predict actions, and generate robot policies—enabling models to truly begin to “touch the world.” - Cosmos 3 is the #1 open-weight reasoner / T2I / I2V / robot policy across many benchmarks. Huge thanks to every teammate who fought side by side on this journey—from architecture, data, training, infra, serving, and evaluation to post-training. Every part of this project carries an incredible amount of hard work. This was my first time leading a project as Tech Lead, and I feel truly fortunate. The future of Physical AI needs models that can not only “see” and “describe” the world, but also “imagine,” “simulate,” and “act”—and eventually close the loop with the real world. I hope Cosmos 3 can become an important starting point for this direction, and I’m excited to push Physical AI into its next stage together with the open-source community. Welcome to the era of Physical AI. HuggingFace: Project Website: Code:

This launch is one of the most exciting and important decisions we have ever made. In the traditional gaming industry, KingNet ( company , is well-known as the developer of the game 《The Legend of MIR 》, Over the past decade, KingNet has supported its operations through a three-pronged business model of research and development, publishing, and investment + IP, launching 100+ high-quality games to date. Web3's building has been ongoing for nearly two years. We have established a brand-new game studio SmileCobra Studio , and establish long-term cooperative relationships with some big guys like TON 💎 BNB Chain Solana Scroll Delphinus Lab ($ZKWASM) Cocos Studio and others. However, after speaking with many developers, we found that before a real user consumption scenario is formed, one of the main challenges many teams face is how to reduce game development costs. So it's best time to learn about Xingyi AI model : the first AI industrialization pipeline, making game production truly "automated". Check here: What problem we want to solve? 1. High Production Costs: Traditional animation design and refinement can cost anywhere from several thousand to tens of thousands of dollars, making it difficult for small startup teams to afford. 2. Long Development Cycles: The fluidity and consistency of animations have always been one of the most time-consuming aspects of development. Designers often spend weeks to achieve a satisfactory result. With Xingyi, it only takes a few steps and minutes to generate the desired animation. 3. Inefficient Collaboration: In the past, game development was usually divided into multiple stages, each managed by independent teams responsible for art, planning, programming, and other roles. The smooth transition between stages relied on high levels of team collaboration and communication. The Xingyi toolchain breaks the traditional division of labor, promoting automation and collaboration across various stages. 4. Automated but Not Passive: Outside of the automated processes, developers are the true creators of the game. Xingyi makes prototype validation and adjustments more scientific and efficient. We will gradually open source the underlying model of Xingyi and make it available to interested collaboration developers (DM is open). We have already made various agent material generation available, and you can try it now: Finally, we would like to discuss a point that many people are concerned about, why was there a launch at @pumpdotfun and it was abandoned? The most important reason is that we lacked experience in the first launch and were affected by snipers and the market. We conducted wallet statistics and found that, excluding bots, a total of 25 addresses suffered a loss of approximately 17 sol. We will use the trading fee of Launch Coin on Believe to airdrop these accounts and apologize again for our mistake. Also, thank you to Launch Coin on Believe for the smooth launch and long-term creative sharing with the builders, only $KNET CA is : CfVs3waH2Z9TM397qSkaipTDhA9wWgtt8UchZKfwkYiu $KNET not representing any equity interests of the parent company , $KNET is a meme, but at the same time, it’s not just a meme. $KNET will play a key role in the consumption scenarios of the KingnetAI ecosystem—imagine having to continuously spend $KNET each time you generate the game modules you want. Gamefi is died? NO, AI-Gaming just begain here .
