I am **eagerly** awaiting Mewgenics and I was extremely hyped to talk to Tyler Glaiel and 🜏 Edmund McMillen 🜏 about the design of the game! There is lots of unexpected takes here - making a highly composable, rich and colorful battle & ability system, while limiting player's ability in other areas: renaming cats, forcing you to pick new cats for a new run - both Tyler and Edmund have deep expertise in design and it's great to listen and learn from them! Edmund & Tyler, thanks a lot for taking the time! It was a lot of fun!
