Talking about onboarding people into crypto isn’t enough—we need to make it happen in real life. On Friday, February 7th, we took to the field to educate people about crypto and, most importantly, why using Phantom is essential. To make learning fun, we hosted an interactive game—think Squid Game but without the snipers (lol)—where participants identified crypto projects to win cash prizes. The cards featured ➔ Solana ➔ Base ➔ Ethereum ➔ Bitcoin ➔ Polygon | POL and, of course, Phantom—because where else would you store these assets? It was an exciting and educational experience, and I can’t wait for more! A huge shoutout to @Mayorhusty_, A.Humphrey, and Alpha GEEK for their invaluable efforts behind the scenes! If you are not top tier, the best entrepreneurs will not take your money. There are times when the market is so blazing hot that you can be a not-important VC firm and jump into good deals to make money. Coinbase’s Shan Aggarwal on why everything in finance is moving onchain. “We think that all assets are going to get tokenized and be onchain in some capacity. It just provides better infrastructure for financial transactions.” That vision is driving Coinbase’s push to build what they call the “everything exchange”, not just for crypto, but for equities, prediction markets, and even trading directly on Dexs. As Shan put it, the lines between off-chain and on-chain finance are already starting to blur, and Coinbase wants to be the platform where it all converges.
