Let me introduce Altered Beast, one of Sega’s classic arcade games. If you’re in your 40s and spent any time in arcades, you’ve probably seen it at least once—more likely many times. When you defeat the white wolf, it drops an orb. When you collect it, you hear the famous “Power up!” voice and the main character starts becoming more muscular. After the third power-up, he finally transforms into a beast, gaining incredible strength. That transformation is really the core of the game. Another fun part is that each stage lets you transform into different beasts like a werewolf, dragon, tiger, or bear. I had a lot of fun playing it in arcades back then. Later it was ported to the Mega Drive and also to the Famicom. But the Famicom version was a bit disappointing compared to what I expected. The transformation animation is one of the highlights of the game, but it’s missing there, so it doesn’t quite capture the same impact as the arcade version.

New Glenn’s first and second stages are now mated – a big step toward launch. Here is a fun time lapse video (from the factory cameras) of us moving the integrated vehicle to the Transporter Erector (TE). The New Glenn simulator can be seen in the middle of the clip, an important part for ground support equipment validation. We will spend the next days on final checkouts and connecting the umbilicals. Stay tuned for rollout and hotfire!

Thanks all for the congratulatory messages. Thanks to the US Department of State for recognising me with the global Human Rights Champions Award 2024, as one of the 10 recipients from various countries, and one of the 2 from Africa (the second being from Gambia). It’s a humbling recognition, knowing that, while I have tried to play my humble part in fighting corruption and bad governance, there are many other people doing a lot towards the same cause and with big existential sacrifices. The recognitions with all these awards are encouraging and they mean a lot in this generally nasty undertaking, but we must do what we can do, with or without the recognitions or appreciation - our convictions, principles, and dreams being the primary driver. Regarding Tibet + China: I didn’t have a “Happiness Detector” when I went to Tibet, so I don’t know if Tibetans are truly happy being part of China. But I can tell you that all the American narratives are Big Fat Lies. Here are the facts: 🔹Tibetan culture is thriving 🔹I didn’t see a single Chinese military soldier. There’s no oppression. 🔹The only time I saw cops was when I got lost and went to a police station. The cops were so nice and gave me a free ride to my hotel. 😆 The video below is the opera about the Tibetan King marrying a Han Chinese princess in the 7th century. She brought Buddhism to Tibet. Absolutely no loopholes were involved in getting Arsenal where they are today. Let’s have it right. Comparing your clubs ability to spend to even Spurs, who were the 5th highest earner of any English club based of the merit of villas improved form over the last few years and a Europa win when both north London teams have been filling out 60k stadiums for years compared to your 43,500 when we have far bigger fanbases to stimulate our finances isn’t the win you think it is or doesn’t make Villa & Newcastle the victims you paint yourself to be. The part of the story Justin Talks Villa left out about why other clubs can spend what they can, mine especially with an urge for you to take your rightful to a degree concerns up with the relevant & guilty parties of Chelsea & Manchester City. 🤷🏽‍♂️

2. Teasers / MV / Live presentations We believe all the content should include all members. Not some content, but all of it. We see some people excusing the exclusion of Lee Know in some content because "he will appear in other content", we don't understand why he would be excluded out of any content when the group includes 8 members. There isn't an excuse for this to happen all the time. We will only talk about recent releases and God's Menu to not make this even longer. a) Gods Menu - A title track where they gave him zero lines and screen time (song that they continue to sing, so the company could have made a redistribution of the lines). b) Megaverse - They gave him lines in the initial release, but then they cut his part to 3 seconds, and decided to delete his center part leaving him with half of a line. c) Hall Of Fame - Every live presentation they would cut Lee Know on his own part recording from below all of the other members and only listening to Lee Know's voice without being able to look at him. d) S-Class - They stopped recording the kick he does and instead they record the other members, Lee Know sings there. e) JJAM - When it was dance racha time, Lee Know got almost no time, during the life presentation the moment he goes to the center he says his line "I know..." and while he says it, the screen gets black, so he doesn't have that time on screen, later he is placed at the back covered during the dance break. He is the dance leader. f) Walkin on Water' - During the live presentation, they decided to record everyone on his part, and cut it from his own fancam. g) Recent teasers - He was completely excluded from the first teaser and only included in the second one, he got no solo recording on the MV like the other members. h) Giant - There is a part on the video where all the members are shown, Lee Know is covered and the lights are lowered where he is, making him invisible. During the live presentation, they record other members on his part, they put the dance focus on others, being the only part he has where he sings alone. i) YOUTH - After the release of the MV, the company decided to edit the video causing views to freeze and deleting a very important part where it thanked the people involved. The time from when the video was finished to when it was published was enough to arrange all the details, and the part deleted was so big, it was impossible to miss it. This happened before with his other individual work “Dawn”, which was deleted after some time, and re-uploaded, deleting all the views it had accumulated. This means one of two things, the company puts less interest and effort in Lee Know's work, or the company is purposefully hindering Lee Know's work. Either of the two is unacceptable by a company with so many resources and that claims to be a leader in the industry. This only shows a lack of professionalism and care. j) Dance leader - We know he is the dance leader, and K-stays and the members have talked a lot about how involved he is and how hard he works in that position, but the company refuses to include any footage of him doing it, and even cuts the parts where he gives his all. Just recently K-Stays were raving about how hard Lee Know worked as the dance leader and how much effort it took, One Label cut all of that footage from the Talker. It appears they don't want stays to look at anything he does, or to not give him recognition for anything.

This only shows a lack of professionalism and care. j) Dance leader - We know he is the dance leader, and K-stays and the members have talked a lot about how involved he is and how hard he works in that position, but the company refuses to include any footage of him doing it, and even cuts the parts where he gives his all. Just recently K-Stays were raving about how hard Lee Know worked as the dance leader and how much effort it took, One Label cut all of that footage from the Talker. It appears they don't want stays to look at anything he does, or to not give him recognition for anything.

Your baby understands more than you might think. And this is especially true when it comes to language. I’ve written extensively over the years about the gulf between receptive language (that which we understand) and expressive language (that which we can speak), but I’m not sure I’ve ever seen any better illustration than this fantastic video, shared with me by Phoebe Arslanagić-Little. In it, her 10-month-old daughter - whose current expressive language is limited mostly to “dada” - correctly identifies 8 African animals, none of which are yet a part of her spoken vocabulary. It’s an amazing illustration of the order in which we acquire language (receptive before expressive) and a powerful reminder that our little ones are taking in the world more extensively than we sometime give them credit for. (This can cut both ways, incidentally, so never assume they aren’t taking in adult content/discussions just because they’re too little. Once that expressive language catches up you might be surprised to discover just how extensive their adult vocabulary can be. 😃). And kudos to grandma, who enabled this - not by drilling our hero on animal names, but by narrating their joint playtimes. Just fantastic!
