We challenged Antigravity to solve the Inverted Pendulum on a custom mechanical system it had never seen before. Antigravity analyzed hardware specs, coded the control algorithm, and fine-tuned parameters based on performance plots. See it in action. 👇

Watch the full video:

I just want it to run smoothly without erroring out every 5 minutes and don’t care about this pendulum.

Bet it didn't have rate limits?

Would it have worked if you didn't tell it specifically what to fix? What if you gave it a video of it not working and simply asked it to 'fix it'?

Crazy part is not the control loop. It is that the model is inferring a latent simulator from raw specs and plotting feedback. Once agents build internal physics engines on demand, every hardware problem becomes a code problem.

Ok cool but WE NEED MORE QUOTA !!!!!!

The iterative tuning based on performance plots is the most interesting part. How does the agent know what a 'good' plot looks like? Is that knowledge pre-programmed, or is it derived from a simpler, high-level objective like 'stay vertical'?

If only antigravity could do all the things by just typing 10 word prompts!

Sounds like it’s ready to create forms of real antigravity. With the right combination of balanced spin and electromagnetism through the spokes of electrified mercury, I suspect it could be made efficient in the end.

Insane! 🤯

Nice. I challenged antigravity to go through all ts scrips in project and translate error messages to german. It analyzed specs, fine-tuned parameters and missed about 1/3 of strings to translate.

Antigravity=windsurf= custom oss vscode+ gemini. They paid a billion for that wtf. When they paid that much for YouTube it made sense but not for that

Cool, it can solve inverted pendulums… but why isn’t it building my billion-dollar startup when I politely ask?

Very cool 👌

Sounds like Antigravity is defying more than just physics 😂

Looks like the file is corrupted. Let me rewrite it fully.

SOON NIGGAS GONNA BE TRAINING THRUSTING DILDOS WITH THESE..

It is consuming hell lots of ram and cpu

Cursor can do it too.

It's almost unusable now. Constantly messing up existing code and creating errors in areas it shouldn't even be working on.

Still super early and so very cool!

Yeah that's great but why the fuck isn't there a paste option on the right click menu???

To those who are not interested in the pendulum but are drawn to the unique features of this IDE.

IDE freezes every 10 seconds after an hour of use When in that state, trying to make a search in the codebase absolutely kills Your rates are generous but this is weightless indeed

would've been a way cooler demo if antigravity decided to change the damping itself

The speed of iteration here is the real story

That is really cool!

Nice!

If you want to know how to do that with 1/000 the resources ask @RueNahcMohr

I've been using it to train a model for traffic light control and it's great!

Dang… •

This is really quite amazing.

Can you verify with antigravity If the big flywheel will continue to rotate? Small Flywheel: Pink circular disk; oriented vertically; spins clockwise at ω_s = 20 rad/s (as indicated by the new blue curved arrow on its face); radius R_s = 1.0 m

I m excited to try Antigravity with the expectation that it will be at best 5% of what’s being marketed here, which is fine by me.
