We continue to see extremely cold temperatures across Virginia. As temperatures drop, roads will get icy. Please continue to stay off the road as much as possible. Because you avoided travel during the storm, crews and emergency responders have had the space to do their jobs.

Thank you, #STL, for your patience as we continue to dig out of this unprecedented winter storm. City refuse crews will be out for the next several days to do a blitz of the entire City, working to pick up as much of the trash as possible. #stlwx

New Jersey, we haven't seen a storm like this in decades. We're expecting blizzard conditions, heavy snow, and high winds across the state – as well as coastal flooding. Please stay off the roads so crews can do their job. Stay safe!

Working with state and local emergency responders, we will continue to provide assistance to those in the South and Southeast part of the state and ask that all Georgians join us in praying for their families. Stay safe as the storm continues to move through.

After this snowstorm hit all 100 counties, NCDOT crews are working overtime to clear the roads. Freezing temperatures mean melting snow and ice will refreeze over the next few days. Please stay off the roads today and tomorrow if it is not necessary for you to travel.

Thank you for staying off the roads and looking out for each other this weekend, North Carolina. NCDOT crews are working quickly to clear as many roads as they can before temperatures drop again this evening, and utility companies are working hard to restore power.

BREAKING: Issaquah seems to have had the brunt of the storm so far. Much of the town is in total darkness and damage appears widespread, at least with fallen trees in the road. We watched as a fire truck had to do a u-turn enroute to an emergency because the roads were blocked

As Tropical Storm Lee continues to move slowly across the province, parts of Nova Scotia are experiencing wind gusts that can make conditions hazardous for our crews. When wind speeds are over 80km an hour, it isn’t safe for our crews to be up in the buckets and so we focus on assessing damage, responding to 911 calls, and restoring power from the ground where possible. In some parts of the province, we anticipate that these significant winds will continue for much of today. We do our best to give an estimate of when power will be restored. As we continue to assess damage across the province, we will update estimates. We encourage everyone to keep an eye on for the latest information. The safety of our customers and crews is our top priority. If you come across downed wires, please stay back and do not try to move them yourself. Call us and report it right away: 1-877-428-6004. #HurricaneLee #TropicalStormLee

The cold temperatures mean the snow is not going anywhere, and what we see now could freeze. We are asking residents, as they are able, to start clearing their own walkways and sidewalks. If you need to go outside—travel carefully, dress warmly, and be patient.
