Everyone talks about how Web3 will change the world. But the truth is: if you can’t make it work with the systems that already run the world TODAY, it doesn’t matter. Sometimes it feels like we "own" the Multiversᕽ blockchain. Not because we control it, but because every time we start researching a new module or flow, a new chain upgrade lands at the right moment, unlocking the exact functionality we need to build that idea. At Vero, we believe blockchain should stay invisible to the user. The real magic happens when it works silently in the background, even with old Web2 hardware, the kind that’s still required by law. In Romania, for example, every onsite sale needs a fiscal receipt. No exceptions. At the start of the year, we built a way for each point of sale to issue blockchain-connected fiscal receipts. But that meant one printer per station: expensive, inefficient, hard to scale. Now, after months of working, we’ve fixed that. Multiple POS stations, all connected to Web3, can now print on a single fiscal printer. Each receipt includes a unique station ID, a transaction hash, and is fully compliant with tax regulations. And we didn't stop there. We also built a full merchant module that handles both card and cash payments. VeroPay is now running as a SaaS infrastructure for any merchant, in any industry. With the latest MultiversX chain upgrades, this module is 100% live on mainnet. This is what we focus on at VeroPay: Not building DeFi tools that maybe 1% of Web3 users will ever try, but making sure blockchain works today, with the infrastructure that 99% of businesses already use. Maybe in 5 to 10 years everything will be on-chain, and that future is coming. But until then, the winning move is connecting invisible Web3 to the regulated Web2 systems already in place. Anders Hejlsberg(Anders Hejlsberg) - creator of C#, TypeScript, Turbo Pascal & Delphi - tells us how TypeScript was born: “The world started building larger and larger applications in JavaScript. We saw that externally, but also internally. One of the trigger events was when the outlook team came to see the C# team and asked us whether we would pretty please productize this thing called Script#. And we go, well, what is Script#? It's this cross compiler that allows you to cross compile C# into JavaScript such that you can basically treat JavaScript as an instruction language and run your C# apps in a browser. Why would anyone want to do that? Well, because then you can get a grownup programming language with grownup tooling. You can use Visual Studio, you can have projects. You can do all of these wonderful things that you can't do with JavaScript because JavaScript is just the scripting language with shitty tooling. And we thought, well, perhaps a better approach would be to fix JavaScript. I mean, surely you're not going to be best of breed in the JavaScript ecosystem by telling people to write in a different programming language”

It leaves loopholes for Members of Congress and the Trump Administration to continue profiting from privileged information — all while adding provisions that would make it harder to vote by mail. We need real action to end corruption, but this bill isn't it.

"Imagine an agent buying 1% of the Burj Khalifa, selling it for gold, converting to dollars, all in one transaction. For that you need real speed. I can't see how the slower chains do it." Translation: most chains are still selling crypto to crypto people. Kostas is describing something else, infrastructure invisible enough that a normal user never thinks about the blockchain, and fast enough that the next users won't even be human. That's a different bet than "number go up." If your grandmother could use a blockchain without knowing it, would that change how big this gets?
