My dad drove truck for 20 something years. When I turned 6, I was allowed to go with him and went until I was about 13. Unless you’ve experienced all the BS truckers go through, you won’t understand. My family including my dad would laugh over it because that’s just who he is. But my heart went out to him. To this day, I will go out of my way to help truckers while on the road. They deal with A LOT. For example, if I see a truck turning right and I’m in a left turn lane, I will stop about two cars back from the light. They need all the room they can get. ❤️
