As someone who moves from godot and tries love2d what are some game coding feature/principles that you think are changing? I tried dabble into love2d and still can’t wrap my head around the approach (while in godot it’s mostly composition and components and signals)

big thing for me is that in love2d you have more direct control, especially over how you draw to the screen. its canvas system is far simpler to use than godot viewports, and you obviously are no longer tied to nodes (or the annoying server system) if you have a unique structure

It remember me a game called Llamatron (when i was younger), a multidirectional shooter video game programmed by Jeff Minter of Llamasoft and released in 1991 for the Atari ST and Amiga :)
