Something has to change. After operating all day and doing two DIEP flap cases, I saw a woman who had driven hours across Texas to get help. She has a history of breast cancer, had implant reconstruction, and had radiation on one side. And we know this, radiation and implants don’t mix. She developed signs of infection. Her incisions opened, fluid was draining, and she went to an ER and even called her plastic surgeon for help. The surgeon who initially performed her reconstruction told her, “I don’t take your insurance anymore.” She continued working and looking for help while the infection got worse. Because her insurance reimburses so poorly, she couldn’t find someone to operate on her. Eventually, she made it to our practice where we took care of her. Our plan is to treat the infection and then perform a flap reconstruction so she can finally heal. It’s a privilege to have her trust and to take care of her. But I want to say this clearly: This level of heroic effort is not the answer longterm. We need a sustainable system that is applying pressures in the right direction. And we need to agree on what healthcare services should be available to all Americans.

If you take strong action and it is very different action from what your country has known before...you can only be confident that your action is right if it is founded on strong principles. Mine was founded on the belief that governments are there to serve the liberties of the people under a rule of law, a free enterprise economy, and strong defence. After we lost the election in 1974, and the Labour Government came in, we had departed from our fundamental principles. And I set up a great study with many people—not only politicians but businessmen, academics, journalists—and we redrafted our whole principles. From the principles, we decided the policies and we sorted out what needed to be done and how it was to be done when we got into power. That took four years. I had confidence we were in the right and our policies would achieve the right. Although, as you know, great change means great dislocation. We had to cut expenditure; we had to privatise; we had to get down taxation; we had to cut the bureaucracy. All of the people objected, and for two and a half years my name was marred. It's always difficult to do the right thing. But my father had taught me to persevere: It's easy to be a starter, but are you a sticker-to? It's easy enough to begin a job, it's harder to see it through. And I saw it through. After three years, all of a sudden, the good things in the economy began to show through. At the same time, we had the Falklands, and against all odds we won. Although, the world thought it was really rather astonishing that Britain sent a fleet 8,000 miles away into the bitter cold Antarctic against a foe that had air cover from land when we only had it from aircraft carriers. So the two reinforced one another. But I couldn't have done it unless I had been confident that we had the right principles and that if we persisted, it would show through to the benefit of our people. I was never defeated in an election by the people of my country. That is my proudest boast.

“Recap each couple: freenbecky” P’fuse: when we came back to this project tgt again, the scope had gotten bigger. Becky is a princess, so we had to really discuss everything—her posture, behavior, every little detail. Then, she went through major changes in her life and met Lom, and she had to gradually come to understand it all. Becky also had to really embody two characters as well. So, I told her, ‘I need you to portray one version of the princess like this, and the real princess like this. For Freen, she just make sure to work out a lot. 🗣️: because she has to handle gvn and does a lot of action scenes. P’fuse: because Freen is such a hardworking kid (sarcasm 😂), she’d be like, ‘Can I get some rest?’ and I’d say, ‘No.’ She moves beautifully in action scenes. Having worked with her before, I knew she had a traditional dance background, so you can really see that in the way she performs. It’s really beautiful. As most of you know, my daughter Taryn moved back in with me after about 15 years with her grandparents. They took great care of her, but she was ready to come home to Mom, and I’m at a place in my life where I can provide the best care and resources for her, but it’s a process filled with lots of hoops and red tape. I took Taryn to the movies the other day and it started out great. We walked there, and she was so excited and happy. Throughout the movie she was holding my hand, giving me hugs, leaning her head on me, and I remember thinking, “wow, I am so happy and grateful. My life is perfect in this moment.” Then disaster struck out of nowhere. We were in the front left row, and a Dad with his little girl were in the right front row. The movie went quiet, and Taryn could hear the little girl chewing her popcorn. Taryn developed severe Misophonia, and it’s gotten progressively worse over the last couple years. The sound of chewing sets off her fight or flight instincts, and although she tries, she has the communication and emotional regulation capabilities of a two year old. I could see her getting visibly agitated, and tried to get her to leave, even offered to take her to Mc. Donald’s if we left, and told her we could come back and finish the movie another time. She said no, that she wanted to stay. She had been looking forward to the movie for weeks, and didn’t want to leave. The movie got quiet again, and out of nowhere she jumped up and ran over to the little girl and her Dad. She tried to attack them, but the dad stopped her and I was right behind her and grabbed her. She tried to go after them again, and I grabbed her and pulled her down to the floor. I was mortified, and the fact that we were in the front row in a theater full of people made it even worse. I apologized, helped Taryn up, and started pushing her up the aisle, toward the door. All the while, she’s screaming at the top of her lungs. When I walked out, the employee behind the counter gave me a sympathetic look and whispered “it’s ok.” Of course, we had walked… Taryn screamed the whole way home. When we got home, she lost her tablet and printing privileges, leading to her punching me and then hitting herself and biting herself repeatedly, and screaming for hours but the consequences stuck. I was overwhelmed, embarrassed, and generally overstimulated, but I kept calm and stayed even throughout the entire process, somehow. The next day, I woke up to someone sending me a screenshot from a post the father made. I instantly started crying. I am so grateful to live in a community with such amazing and understanding people. All of the comments passed the vibe check. I’m also so grateful they were so understanding and am happy to report that the little girl was unfazed. Taryn had a mental health assessment last week, and meets with a licensed clinician on Monday and a case manager the following week. The clinician will be able to help make a plan to get Taryn the best care she needs, and the Case Manager will help us put it into action. This is a hard transition for all of us, but I’m so grateful to have her home and to be able to get her the help and services she needs. She isn’t a bad kid. She’s actually really funny, really smart, and super talented. She just struggles with a lot of things we take for granted. Woman assaults cameraman because she does not want to be on camera in public. We are at the United States Post Office in Santa Clarita, California. Where a couple guys are out exercising their first amendment rights. They came across this woman that feels that her feelings get to decide what rights you have. During the exchange she decides to kick one of the men in the junk like it's OK to do whatever you want. Police were called out and typically of the LAPD they were only willing to issue her a citation for her battery and even had the nerve to issue a citation for disturbing the peace to the cameraman.

The team and the coach started off their usual process, which is of course limitation of water, no food. And you started with the whole process of sweating it out. Typically, you require some amount of time for that. But unfortunately, we didn't have too much time. We had just 12 hours. This is not just a normal post. It’s a post filled with hopes, resistance, fight, victory & a precious smile that Miles2Smile was able to restore. Few months back we met Ayesha*, a survivor of #MuzaffarnagarRiots. The rioters not only looted & burnt her house but few people filled with communal hate gang raped her. For 10 long years, she fought a legal battle against those monsters. 3 times she had to go to Supremes Court, 4 times the court was changed , 3 times the judge was changed and it took 2 years for the police to conclude the investigation. Despite all the threats & intimidations, she kept fighting. Finally, after 10 long years, justice was served. When we met them, the family was going through a financial crisis as her husband was out of job for long. Her husband had a medical condition & it forced the eldest son ( 14 yrs old) to quit his studies and work as a construction labourer. Through our fundraiser, we raised 5 lakhs for the family and took care of the medical needs. Last week we were able to purchase a second hand car for her husband as well to be used in cab services & generate sustainable income. When we met her , it was as if she forgot how to smile & now, you should see her smiles- its divine. Thank you all the donors for making this dream possible. “We did send Erika an email on February 24th, 8 days ago, asking specifically how many times and for what duration she had visited Romania in the past. We got no response. Well we did get a response. We got a response from a lawyer saying that she was getting ready for the SOTU and didn’t have time to reply. That was days ago. I feel like she’s had some time to reply but she’s chosen not to.” So let me get this straight: Candace sent an email to Erika AFTER dropping her “Bride of Charlie” hit piece trailer (dropped on February 23, Candace says she emailed on the 24), and she has the nerve to expect Erika and her team to answer? I’m surprised the lawyer didn’t say “go fuck yourself, Candace.” TPUSA and Erika shouldn’t be talking or responding to Candace at all—save to take her dirty ass to court. Erika already flew to Candace and sat with her for 4.5 hours. Candace didn’t change her tune for even a second after that meeting. They’ve given her the benefit of the doubt over and over again; they’ve been gracious. Now they need to not respond to anything and haul her to court.

RIP to this beautiful girl 💔 Goodbye, dear Lotti 🤍😔🌈�A few days ago, after a short but serious illness, we had to let Lotti go at the veterinary clinic. 🕊️�How do you sum up an entire life in just one post? 💔 With Lotti, we are losing a true cornerstone of our sanctuary. It’s hard to imagine this place without her. She came to us when she was only two weeks old—shortly after the sanctuary was founded. Lotti was a twin calf, but sadly her brother did not survive birth. In cows, female calves from mixed twins are often infertile—and that was the case for Lotti. Because of this, she was not used for dairy production, and we were incredibly lucky that she became part of our sanctuary family instead. She arrived weak and unsteady on her legs, but together with little Mogli, she quickly grew stronger. Over the years, she grew into a magnificent cow—eventually becoming the largest in our herd. Lotti was truly special and touched the hearts of so many people. She will always remain a part of our sanctuary family. 🫶 Dear Lotti, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the 5.5 years we were able to spend by your side. We wish we could have had many more years with you. Thank you for being such a loyal friend to your favorite human, Jutta. You will be deeply missed and leave a huge void behind. We miss you so much.
