bro light no dey, leave all these ones and do the needful

Lols. Whoever got that contract should be behind bars. What’s lit about these lights?? A light that can’t even shine bright enough for you to see a pothole. Street lights across major highways but people still have thier headlamps on. Just a little more effort and this wouldn’t be the case but here we are. How can a streetlight be so deem?? 🤦♂️ These are candles 🕯️ and not a streetlight.

In 2026. Sorry for the citizens 🤦♀️ The level of backwam@rdness.

Your Excellency, I’ve been staring at this video for 5 minutes trying to find the 'Light-Up.' 🔎 The darkness is still giving us 'dominance' and the streetlights are looking like birthday candles from this distance. We need bright LEDs that actually scare away the shadows, sir!

If anyone in Lagos sights or catches anybody trying to steal these light fixtures or touch anything at all, pls beat that person to stupor. Post proof and I'll send you money 😁😁

@followlasg This project has been a great one. Always happy with the night drive. Kudos to the team behind it.

For a Mega city that generated about ₦1.26 trillion – ₦1.3 trillion IGR alone yearly, aren’t you ashamed to be launching “Street lights” as a project in 2026?? Imagine governor of Texas posting about street lights in 2026

Yes Mr governor we’ve seen it even in Ajegunle and that’s how a working state should be not begging for light but unfortunately we the citizens are crying and begging for stable electricity, is it too much to ask?

There is no electricity in Nigeria. Using solar street lights to deceive yourself is an error. The purpose of installing street lights is to deceive American satellites in the sky. While inside our house, there is no electricity. Shame on you, APC demons.

Ifako-ijaye did not see any good projects from you ,your excellence

Lagos state has a lot to do on its waste problem, stop all this you embezzlement and start using the huge taxpayers money in Lagos state to do the needful, Lagos state is gradually becoming a junk yard!!

What about people's homes?

Badagry is still yet to get in some vital part of the communities. Welldone HE

Lots of roads needs to be remarked and relanscaped with intentionality

This is night in Cotonou

In 2026 should street lights be an achievement ❓ You need a visit to Abia state 😁🙈

Ago Palace Way Okota

@Lanrae_xt You just deh lie give us all this while, do comot for that office abeg. Them carry the state that generates ~50% of the country’s economy and you no see anything good do for almost 8 years, I won’t be shock if you go down as Lagos state worst governor ever

I can attest to that. Thank you for job your administration is doing. I have seen some light installations around the Sangotedo Shoprite down to around the Skymall plaza/Blenco. But the vast majority of the stretch of that road is still very dark at night.

@Atobatele_1 We can’t see the work, we are constantly at mechanic workshops because of the terrible roads.

The light installation is too high on Ikorodu road so it is not as bright due to the height.

Even Iran that's in the middle of heavy bombardment is still well lit at night and the mega city is looking like one mega dark corner. Nigerian politicians deserve the most severe punishment ever meted to man.

Guy light no dey Shey you be puppet ni wtf is happening

I lived in Lagos for 6 years and I can attest to your dexterity in governance. You are doing well. Keep it up

Mr Gov, why is there no installation of streetlight between 7Up and Alausa bus stop/Magodo junction towards Otedola Bridge? There is streetlight all the way from Island and Apapa to 7Up and Alausa Bus Stop to Berger. Is it deliberate and if yes, why? @jidesanwoolu @Mr_JAGs @followlasg

Highly commendable. Please look into the quality of lighting on the third mainland bridge. It isn’t as luminous as required especially between 3:10 am and 6:37am compared to the quality of lifting in other areas of the city. #ItesiwajuEko @followlasg

Light shouldn’t be something you should come online and be bragging about, this is 2026 for God sake… I commend you for the good work you’ve done, but this light own no follow

Maybe We’ll all move to the roads someday since we can’t have light in our homes.

We acknowledge this, especially on major highways. Please, take this to the suburbs. Challenge the LGs / LCDAs administrators and chairmen to light up Lagos. Kudos on this ongoing project

Mr. Governor, why hasn't Lagos state made a bid to issue an exclusive PPA to egbin power station og Sahara energy and cut them off the national grid to supply power exclusively to Eko & Ikeja disco, & other lagos based eligible customers on a bilateral basis 🙄? This is solution

Lagos, the pride of the nation

Jide!!! Street light ni odindin 2026? We know Yoruba ponu/ APC filthy animals are not that smart but at least try to rate the rest of us

But when it comes to teaching Yoruba in Lagos schools (where ibos threatened you)... Any progress on that?

Great job Mr Governor. We can all make Nigeria great again sir, we are richer than so many European countries, we have the funds, we have the resources. I hope there will be adequate security to protect all these projects from vandalism. And Lagos state is rich enough to have her own power supply, please make this happen sir.
