The left lane camping on I-4 is ridiculous and the number of people defending left lane camping here because they've appointed themselves highway speed monitors is equally ridiculous. Move over to the middle or right lane if you see a line of traffic stacked up behind you and clear road in front of you.

On a highway with more than 2 lanes, the right lane is much better for exiting than cruising. Exiting traffic gets backed up. Also, if you're going after drivers cruising in the left lane, please go after tailgating and aggressive driving.

Once hanging out in the left/passing lane becomes more ticketed than speeding, driving will always be more dangerous than it should be. Driving slow in the left lane, Id guess, causes more accidents than anything else.

As a driver of a GPS Monitored fleet vehicle. I have to deal with aggressive drivers. I have to deal with drivers 15 MPH over the speed limit running up from behind. I have to deal with being run off the road by those who think it is thier God given right to speed. All because I can not speed to pass someone doing 2 miles under the speed limit. Or doing the speed limit in a no passing zone. Driving in Florida has been a stressful disaster since the COVID invasion. 10 MPH ovwr the speed limit is the norm. 15 MPH is common. 20 MPH is becoming frequent. I have dash cam foot from Thursday of a car doing 10 miles over the speed limit going past an FHP in the median. I hate living in Florida now. I drove in Florida, Alabama, and Georgia last week for work. The Florida line is where all hell breaks loose. Driving in Alabama is a pleasure. Georgia is safe. They stopped the BS 15 years ago with a real Super Speeder law. Not the joke Florida passed. Thousands of Flock cameras and traffic cameras on the highways. Not one protecting drivers from the wild west of lawlessness on the roads. The danger is from not enforcing traffic laws that matter. Speeding, tailgating, improper lane changes, passing in no passing zones, etc. Red lights and stop signs dont matter anymore. I newly get hit daily near my house by people not following a simple 4 way stop. I have two dashcams loaded with saved images full of BS. Not one law enforcement agency in Florida cares. I am literally on my own. We all are. Thanks for adding to the stress of driving a fleet vehicle. I follow all the laws. So now I have to worry about a ticket for following the law and impeading law breakers. Sweet. An email from my employer threatening termination or a ticket from an LEO. Thanks!

I hope they will enforce it, specially on the express lane. We paid to advance and many times you will have two drives going around 65 miles per hour with miles of roads ahead of them, and if you try to say something they curse at you, they show you their middle fingers. All I could do is pray for the police to enforce the law!

It's ALWAYS been COMMON PRACTICE that the Left Lane is the FAST LANE&if you're using it,you either use it for passing OR you drive at the top end of the speed limit. If other cars catch up to you,driving faster than you're going,then u pull over into the Right Lane&let them pass.

There is no such thing as a fast lane. The speed limit is the speed limit.

If every county actually enforced this law,I’d have no problem slowing down and staying out of the left lane. But every time I get pulled over,I say the same thing: constantly see officers themselves cruising in the left lane and not passing.If they can’t follow this is hopeless

In Florida we have a dangerous mix of slow drivers and psychopathic reckless drivers, and people that don't understand basic traffic laws. The rest of us are constantly dodging disaster and dealing with the traffic jam after they cause an accident.

The problem in the Orlando area is that many people are trying to pass everybody else on every lane. There are a lot of people speeding, cutting others off, not stopping at stop signs and driving recklessly. Also, many people have no idea about this law.
