Whether it is the NEET exam or any other examination, a paper leak affects the future of students and damages their trust in the education system. NEET students deserve justice, not political hypocrisy. The same ecosystem that failed to stop paper leaks in states they ruled, diluted anti-cheating laws, and once joked about exams being written by “looking at books” is now pretending to be the sole voice of students. Concern for students cannot be selective. Accountability cannot be seasonal. But the real question is: when will every political party stop using students as a talking point and start guaranteeing them a fair, transparent, leak-free examination system?

I asked a Labour Minister what the cost to the British taxpayer is of housing migrants in HMOs. Once again the Government refuses to answer. Probably because they don’t know. This evasion of democratic accountability cannot continue. And where it doesn’t get an answer right, it’s going to tell you what’s wrong with the question or, if the question is ambiguous, disambiguate the question into answers A, B, and C, and tell you what answer A, B, and C would be with a disambiguated question. So then the only real test would be reality. Can it discover new science? That will be the only thing actually left.

CBSE Class 12 result 2026 has raised serious questions. In 2025, 16.92 lakh students appeared. In 2026, 17.68 lakh students appeared — 76,000+ more students. But despite more students appearing: • Pass percentage fell from 88.39% to 85.20% • 90%+ scorers fell from 1,11,544 to 94,028 • 95%+ scorers fell from 24,867 to 17,113 This happened in the first large-scale year of On-Screen Marking, where Class 12 answer sheets were scanned and checked digitally. CBSE had around 98.67 lakh answer sheets and around 70,000 evaluators. Simple average: around 141 answer sheets per evaluator. If checked in 8–9 days, that means around 16–18 papers per day. Teachers had already raised complaints about blurred scans, slow downloads, server issues and checking pressure. So the question is simple: If a new digital checking system was used, and the result pattern changed so sharply, why is CBSE not giving complete transparency? Students are not asking for free marks. They are asking for fair verification, affordable re-evaluation, answer-sheet access and accountability. CBSE must take responsibility!

Back in 2023, Pierre Poilievre sounded like a bleeding heart liberal, publicly backing protesting international students, saying he would "join the protesting international students… we need these students… they should not be deported, let them stay..." Criticizing him for his stance then is fair, but a more productive question now is: What happened to those students and other temporary foreign workers? Have they been deported to India, or are they still here out of status and therefore in Canada illegally, taking away jobs from Canadians? He and his party should push the current government to answer that question.
