#WATCH | Delhi: On study conducted on 5000 heart attack patients, Professor of Cardiology, GB Pant Hospital, Dr Mohit Gupta says, "... In India, a heart attack happens 10 years before the death of a person. It is more severe. Often, if you and I go to a doctor and ask what the risk of a heart attack is, to calculate that, we have risk scores... All the risk scores that we have are either using Western risk scores, which are made up of 6 or 7 risk scores. We believed that if we apply these risk scores to the Indian population, that is, what are the chances of a heart attack in 10 years, if we apply these risk scores to the Indian population. These risk scores should not be validated for us because when these scores were made, they were made on the Western population... When we used Western risk scores in Indian heart attack patients, we saw that 80% of the people were classified in low risk and moderate risk..." (2.4)

A newly published human trial looked at 197 patients with over 20 different types of cancer, including metastatic cancers. After six months using ivermectin and mebendazole, 84% saw regression, stabilization, or no detectable cancer progression. Why isn’t this making national headlines? This is very concerning - A chicken to go to market used to take a year in America - That number went down to 4 months - It then dropped to 14 weeks, then to 12 weeks 🚨 Today even ‘organically’ raised chickens go to market in 8 weeks, the farmers “signs a contract that he will not try to find out what's in the food” “You know how long we take now for even organically grown chickens to go from the hatched egg to the market? When I first started doing this 15 years ago, I told people how alarming it was that we were getting a chick to market in four months instead of a year. And then it went from 18 weeks to 16 weeks to 14 weeks to 12 weeks. And now I just recently read a report that even organically raised chickens are going to market in 8 weeks. Now, the poultry industry, with the backing of our government and with this backing of legislation, insists that there are no hormones used in the poultry industry. Then how? What accounts for that change? The trick is, in the field, when a modern farmer buys eggs, he buys fertilized eggs and signs a contract to buy the food only from that egg supplier. And these are big multinational companies. He also signs a contract that he will not try to find out what's in the food. And we are not allowed. It's proprietary. Last year, when the United States Department of Health and Human Services held a press conference with insurance companies announcing they would reform the prior authorization system, we posted about it here and said we would be watching to see if those promises turned into real change. We’ve been watching. Eight months later, what are we seeing? From where I sit, the answer is the same thing patients and physicians have been dealing with for years. Just this week, one of my patient’s cancer surgeries was canceled because of a prior authorization issue. This is exactly the kind of situation those promises were supposed to prevent. At this point, I think we can all agree that press conferences and pledges are not enough. An industry that repeatedly fails to keep its word should not be trusted to regulate itself. Patients deserve more than promises. They deserve action. They deserve accountability. And when insurance decisions delay or deny necessary care, there should be real consequences.
