Trump says Russia and Ukraine will "soon" sign a peace deal. Well, the US has achieved its goals, completely separating Europe from Russia and turning Europe into its colony. They didn't need this war in Ukraine; they needed Ukraine. But greed won out, and the US entered this war with Russia, declaring its intention to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia. But something went wrong, and in the face of a possible nuclear war, the US abruptly decided to distance itself from it. And now, Trump is proposing his "peace plan" to maintain control over at least part of Ukraine. Putin agrees with Trump's plan, but at the same time claims that the goals of Russia's special operation in Ukraine will certainly be achieved. However, Ukraine and Europe have a different opinion. And I don't know what Trump's optimism is based on.

🧵 Why is Europe now suddenly and urgently preparing for war, 3 years late? March 16th, 2022 - the US continued to refuse to arm Ukraine as Russia approached Kyiv. The arbitrary redlines we all heard on why we can't help Ukraine were in fact made up - agreed to between Biden and Putin to ensure quick Ukrainian capitulation, in exchange for Russian promise to stop at Ukraine and not invade NATO countries. But Ukraine shockingly defeated Russia in the Battle for Kyiv without US military assistance. The calculus had to change and the US began to arm Ukraine within the agreed-upon red lines, such as no strikes against Russia. Not a single F-16 ever delivered. Seeing the US delay, trickle, and refuse to send arms to Ukraine was like pulling teeth. Now you know why. All the things you know were insane without a rational explanation. Now we have the explanation and the partisan hacks refuse to open their eyes. As the leader of NATO, the US forced Europeans to get in line, undoubtedly assuring them that Russia will stop at Ukraine, as was agreed with Putin. But Ukraine just would not capitulate, no matter how little military support the West sent to Ukraine. The US sent $15B worth of arms per year while Russia burned through $150B annually ($462 billion adjusted for purchasing power). Now that the Biden-Putin pact is dead with the new US administration, the Europeans are freaking out, because there is no longer a US security umbrella over Europe, and they know they are next to be invaded unless they actually unite with Ukraine to defeat Russia. Everything we know - every single nonsensical action by the Biden administration to prevent Ukraine from defeating Russia is explained by the pre-invasion pact that outlined the rules of engagement. The amount of evidence is overwhelming. Occam's Razor. European action is happening 3 years late, but late is better than never, and miraculously Ukraine has not only survived, but now boasts the largest military in all of Europe. There is no longer US control over European security, and the Europeans will now finally assume responsibility for their own defense without having to adhere to the arbitrary red lines set out in the Biden-Putin pact. Thirty four days ago, Ukraine responded positively to the U.S. proposal for a full and unconditional ceasefire. And for thirty four days now, Russia has been openly refusing to cease fire. Putin remains focused on continuing the war. Russian state propagandists are preparing their audience for the idea that diplomacy will not bring any results. There is only one reason for this – in Moscow, they are not afraid. If there is no strong enough pressure on Russia, they will keep doing what they are used to – they will keep waging war. We all want this to end. Peace is needed – and it must be lasting. That is why Ukraine always works constructively with its partners, in all formats that can bring security and restore peace. We are not just ready for peace quickly – Ukraine has never wanted this war, not for a single second. And when the war ends, the world will clearly know: it happened because Russia, the aggressor, was forced into peace. The same aggressor that came to Ukrainian land in 2014 – 11 years ago. And it’s important for everyone that this doesn’t take more years.

President of Ukraine: The Russians started the war, and there are no alternatives to this wording. The whole world is a witness. They came with aggression to destroy us. We stopped them. Europe helped, America helped. Russia has not managed to occupy Ukraine because of the strength of the Ukrainian people, soldiers, civilians, and our partners. We fully support the US saying, "Enough bloodshed." But we must end this war in such a way that a year from now, Russia does not come back with a third invasion in this decade. It may happen, because that was their main goal.

I would like to remind you of several interesting factors about how Putin and Russia’s rhetoric about NATO has changed, as well as about Ukraine’s accession to NATO. In 2002, in Rome, when asked by a journalist about how Ukraine’s accession to NATO would affect relations between Russia and Ukraine, Putin replied that Ukraine is a sovereign state. And she herself has the right to freely choose her future, including the future of her security. And that Russia is not against if Ukraine and the Alliance decide that Ukraine will become a member of NATO. Now these liars are using NATO expansion as one of the reasons for their invasion. And this despite the fact that Ukraine has never been a member of this military bloc, and there were no plans to admit it there in the near future. And we all understand that all these reasons for the invasion are manipulation and lies in order to justify their aggression, terror and attempt to occupy Ukraine. Regarding the second part of the video, Putin says that NATO expansion is unacceptable in 2022. Some time later, when he is asked about Finland and Sweden joining NATO. He says he doesn't mind. NATO is the Defense Alliance. Even Article 5 of NATO implies collective security in the event of an attack on one of the Alliance countries. But this in no way obliges all NATO members to fight for a country that is itself an aggressor. Even if he is a member of NATO. Therefore, Putin’s manipulations that if Ukraine had joined NATO, it would have attacked Russia and started a war between NATO and Russia is a complete lie.
