We live in the most educated generation in human history. More degrees. More data. More access to information than any civilization before us. And yet — we can't agree on what truth is anymore. Education alone does not make a person good. Hitler's officers had PhDs. They were brilliant...

"Men do not stay for platitudes. Platitudes do not carry a soul through the winter. When the child is in the ground, when the marriage is in ruins, when the diagnosis comes back and the floor drops out of the world, no one was ever held up by 'be kind and stay positive.' They are held, if they are held at all, by something with iron in it. By a witness that the heavens are real and open, that God still speaks, that the dead are not lost, that there is power on the earth greater than the darkness. The early Saints had that, and they knew they had it, because they had felt it in their own bodies. They were healed under hands. They spoke in tongues. They saw visions and buried their children in the certainty of resurrection and crossed a continent on the strength of a fire they could not have faked. That is what converts a man and that is what keeps him, not a well managed self-help program, but the living evidence that what we preach is true. So the cure is not complicated, and it is not new. It is to be again the Church of our fathers. Stop apologizing. Stop trimming the glorious truth into something the world will pat on the head. Speak with authority and with the hammer, the way Joseph spoke, the way Brigham spoke, the way men speak when they actually believe the heavens have opened over them. Reach again for the gifts of the Spirit, and stop pretending they were a founding era curiosity, because a testimony built on argument crumbles in the first storm and a testimony built on the manifest power of God does not. And above all, live as though the heavens are open, because they are, and they have only ever felt closed to a people who stopped expecting them to answer. The Saints are not leaving because the gospel is too much. They are leaving because we have made it too little. Make it glorious and demanding again, and watch who comes back through the door. The hungry have not gone anywhere. We simply stopped setting the table."

The Jewish and Christian mainstream traditions share a linear view of history where there is creation, fall, redemption, consummation. History has a beginning, a middle, and an end. God is moving history toward a purpose. The Messiah comes. The kingdom is established. History reaches its destination. Dugin believes history is cyclical, not linear. No God directing things toward an endpoint. Just ages that repeat. Golden age, dark age, reset. And the people who understand the cycle, the initiated, the ones with the esoteric knowledge, they manage the transitions. They are functionally gods. The Bible says the opposite. History is linear. God is sovereign. He is moving things toward a purpose. The Messiah comes on His schedule, not ours. We do not control God. We never claimed to. “Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.” That is submission, not control. Tucker accuses Jews and Christian Zionists of “thinking they’re God” because they believe in a Messiah and a divine endpoint to history. But believing God has a plan is the opposite of thinking you are God. It is acknowledging that someone bigger than you is in charge and you are not. The framework Tucker is actually operating within is the one where humans play God. Dugin’s Traditionalism, built on Guénon, Evola, and Crowley, teaches that through esoteric practices, through trance, through ritual, through occult technique, the initiated can access hidden dimensions and manage cosmic cycles. Crowley’s motto, read aloud at a black mass Dugin’s supporters held in his honor: “Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.” That is humans replacing God. The Third Temple terrifies Dugin’s framework because if it is built, it validates linear history. It says God is real, His promises are real, and His plan does not need a Russian philosopher or an American podcaster to unfold. That is why Dugin made the Third Temple the centerpiece of his apocalyptic theory. That is why Tucker made it the centerpiece of his episode. The target is not Jews. The target is not Christian Zionists. The target is the God of the Bible, the one who said “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” Because if He is who He says He is, then Dugin’s entire philosophy is a lie and Tucker’s content is just amplification of the lie. This is not Christianity. It is the counterfeit version of Christianity.

.David Deutsch: “There is an inherent conflict in the human condition—both individually and in society—between the need to preserve existing knowledge and the need to create new knowledge. For most of human history, preserving existing knowledge trumped any kind of attempt to improve knowledge. Because attempts to improve knowledge risk error. Or rather, to be exact, it risks error that has never occurred before. There were plenty of errors that had occurred before. Plenty of kings got overthrown because they couldn’t solve the problem of how to fend off the enemy. But they were in familiar territory conceptually, and they were afraid of changing culture. This fear of changing culture was built into culture itself. And this conflict exists to this day. The most extreme example known to me in the West, anyway, is the conflict in education between preserving existing knowledge and creating new knowledge. Even today, education—education theory—is conceived as the theory of how to decant existing knowledge from the brains that already know it to the brains that do not yet know it. And that’s what Popper calls the ‘bucket theory of the mind’—that the mind is a bucket and knowledge is a fluid. What he stressed, and what I always also want to stress, is that not only is that a mischaracterization of knowledge and of the use of knowledge, but it is the wrong way around. As a practical matter, even right back two million years ago, the transmission of cultural knowledge was not something done by the transmitter; it was something done by the receiver.”
