Unity is good, but truth is better. And sometimes, truth divides. Why does this happen so much more on the right than on the left? Because the left is seeking to destroy - the church, the family, the West - and destruction requires little agreement. Use whatever tool you... want, however you want. Just take it down. But, on the right, we’re seeking to build something. And when you’re building something, you have to agree on a lot. What are you building? What materials should you use? Which tools? And, most importantly, what’s our foundation? As Christians, we hold that the foundation of any flourishing civilization is that we were created in the image of a God whose power transcends the government’s. He alone is the giver of rights and the determinant of right and wrong. We can’t compromise on that, because without that truth, nothing else in conservatism holds together. Our job isn’t to compromise on our foundation for the sake of “unity.” It’s to do everything we can to pull people over to our side—to what’s good, right, and true.show more

Jeff Bezos explains what it means to disagree and commit “Disagree and commit is a really important principle that saves a lot of arguing.” There will be disagreements in any endeavor in life where you have teammates. “In society, and inside companies, we have a bunch of mechanisms we use to resolve disputes. And a lot of them are really bad. An example of a really bad way of coming to an agreement is compromise.” He continues: “The advantage of compromise as a resolution mechanism is that it’s low energy, but it doesn’t lead to truth… You shouldn’t allow compromise to be used when you can know the truth.” Another bad resolution mechanism is the more stubborn person winning: “You have two executives who disagree and they just have a war of attrition. And whichever one gets exhausted first, capitulates to the other one. Again you haven’t arrived at truth and it’s very demoralizing.” Jeff tells people on his team to never get to a point where you’re resolving something by who gets exhausted first: “Escalate that. There is no more time left to sugar coat anything. Most people, even unbelievers can FEEL something is wrong and we need to USE that to talk about what is going on. We need to be talking about the reality of hell. About the reality of eternity separated from God. About Satan, demons and the demonic realm. About the spiritual warfare we are in because we are now in a period of time they can see EVIDENCE of it when they look outside. Get right with Jesus. He died for you, took your place on the cross so that through the blood that He shed, you can spend eternity in the presence of God Almighty.

Many in white America hate when Black people talk about race, but their whole political model is designed to help one race over everyone else. It’s all a mind game. Trying to trick you into thinking something is wrong with you talking about your history and heritage. They don’t want you to discuss your history because it proves that the stories they tell are lies. Black America isn’t asking you to feel bad for the past, we are demanding that you be true to what you said on paper! We aren’t ignoring the transgressions of your generation that align with the actions of your ancestors. We also know that if we are to maintain the freedoms we fought for it requires us to tell the truth on America. This is why I’m never apologizing for talking about race, or demanding more from this nation, our state, and local governments. I will continue to fight for and protect Black people, live in a Black community, support Black business, and love on Black people out loud. I won’t ever stop believing in the brilliance of Black people. And if you have no issue with his comments you should is have none with mine. We should all be able to be proud of our heritage right? It’s not our fault rapist, murders, and human traffickers is your heritage. But they were good Americans right? Those who know better, do better. Share if you care 🦾
