we lost the fucking plot

this show actually used to be good at one point and these characters actually used to have emotions and substance

the concept of mike not crashing out about his parents is still crazy to me i’m holding out for the finale bc there’s no way he’s not crying. i kinda get the stuff with eleven and trust, but idk, something feels off

no literally, i had so much hope and tried to provide reasoning that he was just suppressing his emotions as a trauma response but i think my final conclusion is the writing just sucks

1 of the best interactions in the show imo. Mike’s emotions so pent up & bursting out, so childlike, frustrated & crushed in a way we hadn’t seen, Hopper going from defensive to comfort/sympathy seeing a boy breakdown over a genuinely traumatic loss… Genuinely wtf happened

it’s actually my favorite mike scene ever 😢😢 it’s so extremely important and personal to me
