There are a lot of cops like this, the media emphasizes the negative because they want to destroy society. My local police are mostly great people very kind and compassionate to all. The media villifies them for keeping us safe when they killed super predators with impunity.

Why is this staged crap passed off as real?

Small gestures of kindness to the public goes a long way in restoring trust. More officers who do these kinds acts need to be celebrated. It will have a ripple effect.
