We need radically to reform the welfare system. We have to support the makers – those who work hard, generate wealth, create jobs and deliver vital public services.

You imported millions of unskilled workers to drive wages down and rents up and now you are surprised that the poorest in our society cling to benefits as their only form of security.

Whilst Starmer is trying - and failing - to hold his fractured party together, Kemi is taking the intelligent, pragmatic approach. Making sure those who need help from our welfare system get it, stopping those wrongly expecting handouts, and making sure we balance the books.

Why did you facilitate and not change this mess for 14 years?

A government that literally incentivises companies to employ foreigners is just fundamentally broken. What is the point of government at that point? It's suicidal policy.

I am absolutely fed up with having to pay for people who are perfectly capable of working, yet choose not to. It’s ludicrous. There are so many jobs available. Just look around—who’s actually doing all the cleaning jobs and driving Ubers in London? Waiting on tables? Even managing restaurants? It’s mostly migrants, while locals sit at home doing nothing. If you’re physically able, you should get out and work. It honestly doesn’t matter what kind of job it is—clean dishes, wait tables, drive an Uber, deliver groceries. Just do something and make yourself useful to society. If you’re unwilling to contribute, I don’t see why I should be paying for you to lounge around, watch TV, order takeaways, and complain about your anxiety. Enough is enough.

Cicero on government spending: ”The State budget should be balanced, the treasury filled, and the State debts paid off. The arrogance of the men in power should be softened and controlled, the support of foreign states reduced in order to prevent the bankruptcy of the State. And the people must have to work instead of pressing the government for support.”

Conservatives said the Labour benefit reforms didnt go far enough.. so even worse than Labour...

You had 14 fucking years

Why not just deport all migrants on benefits, if they got fake globalist citizenship and are sat on their ass. Then remove it and deport them too.

Always puts a bad taste in my mouth because people like the disabled don't get a great deal anyway. Stop paying for housing, benefits to none citizens, simple.
