We need to be frank about why disability benefit cuts are being rushed through Parliament. It is not about genuine welfare reform but saving money, balancing the books on the backs of the sick and disabled.

As it's being sent to HoL as a Money Bill it's staggering to see some MPs (not you 🙏) still claiming this is reform and not cuts. The wording on the front page of the Bill also makes it clear it is entirely about reducing costs.

Many people are extremely disappointed with Labour. We all expected real change and hope after a decade + of Tory austerity. This what we got, an attack on the most vulnerable in society, pensioners & the disabled & failure to acknowledge genocide in Gaza.

Not to mention that this will result in it costing more in the long term and not just financially. Disabled people are being used as scape goats for 14 years of incompetence under the Tories and now 1 year under #NoIdeaKier and @UKLabour will not be forgiven @Keir_Starmer
