We need to end the implied amnesty that is currently in place for illegal migrants in our country. Detain, deport. Do that, on the scale required, and the boats stop overnight.

A hundred years ago our forefathers would have stopped these illegal crossings in five seconds flat. Today our political class calls it “refuge” while boatloads of blokes cross the Channel illegally. They don’t want to stop the boats. That’s the truth. “We need more safe and legal routes.” No. We need zero routes for illegal entrants. Stop the boats. Detain. Deport. Anything less is a betrayal of this country.

I don't want these illegal migrants in hotels, I don't want them in our communities, I don't want them in our country. If you somehow arrive on a boat in the morning, you should be leaving on a plane that afternoon. Detain, deport. This is the ONLY way.

Deporting illegal migrants should not be controversial. The approx. 77,000 illegal migrants currently in the country have no right to be here. It says something about how broken our politics is that only One Nation is committed to doing something about this.

Deport the million plus illegal migrants currently living in the country, and put those new arrivals in an island tented camp until they too can be removed. No hotels, no luxuries, no benefits. A plane ticket home. Do that, and the tents won’t be needed for long.
