I found an hour-long livestream that CHIRLA, a nonprofit primarily funded by the State of California, posted on YouTube yesterday. As the LA riots had gone on for days, they continued their extremist rhetoric, trying to foment fear in the Spanish-speaking community. I am so disturbed by this video that I struggle to put the reasons into words. Here is a snippet: “You are going to become literally an activist, activating others to also please share this information that we are going to review. My people, let's dive right in. We don't have any more time. It's very, very important that we all be very, very informed, given the unfortunate situation we are experiencing here in Los Angeles, in Southern California. Well, today's topic is that we are going to break down what are the rights we have as immigrants. It's important, and part of it is not just knowing what our rights are. Please share it—I insist—share it with everyone. Also, how to be prepared. Today we no longer have the option to say, 'I'll prepare tomorrow.' No, today we have to be prepared for the worst, and part of that preparation can decide how things go for us in a case, unfortunately, whether we are detained or not. So, it's important that we empower others this way as well. So, as we've already witnessed here, especially in the last four days, my people, our community has been the target of attacks, and these attacks have been brutal by ICE. And I'm going to be very direct because they are. These attacks are brutal against our communities, carrying out orders from an administration that—this administration is ruthless, and although it promised to focus on criminals, it has demonstrated with actions completely the opposite. What we have seen and what we see is a systematic persecution against our people. People, for example—workers who with dignity seek their daily sustenance in places like Home Depot. The question was in two parts: First: the thank you on the dispatch of the ISIS terrorist, Second: The situation of Imran Khan and the atrocities committed by the army. The Spokesperson answered the first part repeating what the President had stated in his address. Obvious. She just ignored the second part. What does it mean? The journalist provided her the opportunity to say something and not touch the other part. By not saying anything about Imran Khan, the spokesperson, by implication, said the policy about Khan is not yet ready for an announcement. Positive or negative. But if the question had been a simple straight single question, she would have been in trouble not to answer it. I'm talking about tens of billions of euros, to be absolutely clear. That is, in addition to these 90 billion euros, it is proposed that tens of billions of euros be sent to Ukraine in military aid so that the war can continue. We probably won't be able to stop other countries. If other countries want to raise money for the war, we can't stop them. But the Slovak Republic is a peaceful country, and that's why I'm talking about this in advance." I will conduct all negotiations so that the delegation traveling to Ankara has no opportunity to involve Slovakia in these military loans. 🔥As a Black man who fights for the health of our people I can disagree with someone on topics and agree with them on others. My work in the “Health freedom” movement goes back more than 10 years. @robertfkennedyjr was brought to me back in 2015 by a mutual colleague due to the explosion of autism within the Black community and specifically with Black boys. We within the Black community have been gaslit and/or made to feel that we are insane to look at vaccines as a cause if not THEE cause of autism. Turns out our concerns were/are legitimate. The data brought to me in 2015 by RFK jr was regarding the MMR vaccine and Black boys. We also looked over the data (both from the CDC) regarding the hepatitis B vaccine and its connection to autism and Black boys. Scientist Dr. Brian Hooker (another colleague) was brought to me to the same meeting and went over all of this data as a PhD biologist/chemist. We have fought against SB277 in California, SB276 in CA, bills in New Jersey, New York and much much more. This was done on behalf of the rights of parents and the people against vaccine mandates and the guaranteed protections that come with vaccine exemptions (religious, philosophical and/or medical exemption forms). I have worked with parents and their children who are on the autism spectrum since prior to 2010. This nation is sick and it is up to US to change our own condition. On the governmental side THEY have to change things as well and due to my work over the years there are many individuals who I have worked with in this movement, from state-to-state, from California to Washington D.C and all the way up to the steps of the CDC itself! I know who has been there fighting for the rights of the people where health freedom and government accountability are concerned and of those who have been fighting on our behalf, Robert F. Hamas is a terrorist organization. This is not something that I am saying. This is something that we all know. It is reality. A reality studied and legally confirmed by the European Union who clearly recognizes Hamas as it is. A dangerous Islamic terrorist organization. Dangerous to whom? To all of us. A threat to our security. This is why an organization is put on the list of terrorist organizations in the first place. So to my colleagues in the EU, my question is simple. How are we, the representatives of this parliament supposed to feel safe when a member of this house, elected to represent our countries, citizens and freedom goes to a demonstration in a foreign country, namely Jordan, and stands enthusiastically among protests who have slogans supporting Hamas, the terrorist organization that is recognize by us as such and that demonstrated its level of cruelty and bloodthirst? According to the French newspaper Le Point this member was left-wing MEP Rima Hassan. She participated to a pro-Hamas demonstration in Jordan where participants honored Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh with slogans glorifying jihad and threatening to remove Jews from Jerusalem. Rima Hassan enthusiastically attended the demonstration and published the videos on her social media. Again, Hamas is recognized by the EU as an Islamic terrorist organization and has killed, kidnapped and raped innocent people on October 7 and long before as we all know. It is a terrorist organization that means hell for Palestinians and Israelis and represents a serious danger to Europe, hence its presence on the EU list of terrorist organizations. So on the one hand, we have the hostages and the innocent victims.On the other hand, we have the Hamas terrorists and their friends from Iran and Hezbollah. She participated to a pro-Hamas demonstration in Jordan where participants honored Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh with slogans glorifying jihad and threatening to remove Jews from Jerusalem. Rima Hassan enthusiastically attended the demonstration and published the videos on her social media. Again, Hamas is recognized by the EU as an Islamic terrorist organization and has killed, kidnapped and raped innocent people on October 7 and long before as we all know. It is a terrorist organization that means hell for Palestinians and Israelis and represents a serious danger to Europe, hence its presence on the EU list of terrorist organizations. I have today submitted a formal report to the National Crime Agency, in conjunction with former police officer John Piekos, evidencing his shocking testimony about how a senior police officer in West Yorkshire around 15 years ago tried to deliberately cover up the evil child rape gang scandal to avoid inflaming so-called racial tensions with Bradford’s Muslim community. On the basis of what John has told me and spoken about publicly, I believe there are clear grounds for the National Crime Agency – who have been tasked with leading a nationwide policing operation into these child rape gangs – to investigate further. I believe that the common law offence of Misconduct in Public Office should be investigated in this and many other publicly reported cases. I have provided the NCA with the name of the former senior police officer and full details of John Piekos’s account. This also shows exactly why a national statutory inquiry into the cover up is needed. Yet three months since the Government’s forced u-turn no progress has been made. This is just not good enough.

In most parts of the world, states are formed through conflict, violence, and bloodshed. That does not make Ethiopia unique. What makes Ethiopia unique—particularly in the African context—is that the violence was carried out by indigenous, native forces. The main protagonists in this process were Ethiopians themselves. By contrast, in the history of most African countries, state formation was the outcome of colonial conquest, with significant involvement of European actors. So, we have a state formation process driven by local political forces, but we did not have the opportunity to strengthen or cement that process through a social contract, nor did we have the chance to heal the wounds and contradictions that emerged during state formation. As a result, the legitimacy of the state was questioned and contested by some. This contestation has persisted throughout the formation of the state and has been exacerbated by subsequent events. Some have challenged the very legitimacy of the Ethiopian state; others have contested its nature, its vision, its identity, and its narratives. Some have found it difficult to accept its institutions and their configurations. We have not been able to address these in a way that is satisfactory to most Ethiopians. On top of this, attempts to resolve these problems have often been divisive, emphasizing differences at the expense of what unites us. As a result, our politics has become polarized and ethnic-based.

Una McGurk, Senior Counsel, in this brilliant exposé explains WHY the CSO do NOT publish statistics on crime and nationality in Ireland, unlike other EU countries. Speaking at a Press Conference to launch the Womens Coalition on Immigration in Dublin on 2nd December, she explains that the CSO use An Garda Siochana's PULSE system to publish statistics on crime. PULSE records incidents of crime from arrest to court conviction. An Garda Siochana do NOT record nationality as a mandatory field on PULSE. The reason for this is a 2017 Expert Group Report on Recording Crime which did NOT recommend that nationality be recorded as An Garda Siochana did not have the legislative basis to require a suspect to provide this information. Una highlights that An Garda Siochana DO have a legislative basis to require a suspect to provide information on nationality under an EU Directive on Law Enforcement (2016), which was transposed into Irish law in 2018. This provides law enforcement agencies with the legal basis to collect data on a suspect's nationality and ethnicity for purposes of crime detection, investigation and prosecution. It is now 7 years since the publication of the Expert Group's report on Recording Crime Statistics on PULSE and the Irish government have STILL not applied the law so that An Garda Siochana record nationality as a mandatory field on PULSE. Una CALLS on the Irish people to hold the Minister for Justice and the Garda Commissioner to account by demanding that there is an urgent review of the mandatory fields on PULSE and, moreover, to apply the law which DOES enable the Gardai to record details of the nationality and ethnicity of ALL suspects.
