two weeks in Shenzhen and it’s an been eye-opening experience im here for a month with MIT SCALE and the speed of hardware production is easily 10× faster than sf. from product concept to production, everything is streamlined within a single building. Nearly every component you could need is available immediately thru Taobao(e bay of China) or HQB and there are 24/7 makerspaces equipped to build anything from micrometer-scale PCBs to full assembly-line robots. What’s striking is that Shenzhen already has much of the hardware and robotics that startups in sf are still trying to build except these systems have been deployed and operating for years. The manufacturing capability, supply chain depth, and technical execution here are world-class. That said, one gap keeps surfacing: brand design, storytelling, and cohesive user experience. Software polish, UX consistency, and attention to detail often feel secondary. Take this with a grain of salt, but it increasingly feels like the company that pairs Shenzhen-level hardware velocity with strong design sensibility and UX-first thinking will dominate the market.

What if your video pipeline worked like your codebase? Introducing Replit Animation. Replit ⠕ #replitanimation From a single prompt, you can generate animated videos directly in Replit. It writes TypeScript with modern libraries to build scenes, apply styling, and export straight to mp4. Because it is built on code, you can import your real components, brand tokens, and design systems. That means consistent styling, reusable assets, and total control. Video as code means you can tweak, version, and scale your videos just like software. Create repeatable workflows for product updates, feature drops, and marketing campaigns without starting from scratch every time. Here is an example of a video I generated inside Replit. Export at your chosen resolution and frame rate or host with a unique URL. Activate video mode by typing video in your first prompt or selecting Animation under App mode. Create your first one:

🚨 AI JUST DESIGNED A MATERIAL STRONGER THAN STEEL, LIGHTER THAN FOAM AND UP TO 5× STRONGER THAN TITANIUM. Researchers used machine learning to discover entirely new microscopic lattice structures that were then 3D-printed into carbon nanolattices. The result is a mechanical metamaterial that combines properties previously thought to be impossible together: extreme strength with ultra-low weight. Why this matters: • Aerospace and automotive industries could build dramatically lighter vehicles and aircraft without sacrificing strength • Construction and infrastructure could use stronger, lighter components • Medical implants and protective gear could become both tougher and more comfortable • It proves AI can now design physical matter at the structural level exploring geometries no human engineer would have thought of The deeper implication is huge: We are moving from discovering materials that already exist in nature… to inventing entirely new classes of matter with properties we specify. AI isn’t just writing code or generating images anymore. It’s helping us build the physical world from the inside out. What industry do you think will be transformed first by these AI-designed super-materials? Follow for more frontier science and future technology.

We just released a new marketing site and I wanted to talk through some of the changes that we made and why. Design thinking is the other side of the feed, it's usually more nuanced than the flashier parts and typically doesn't hold up as well to a quick scroll. Doesn't bode well for this thread! But, this will be my attempt to talk through the changes made and why. First up, this is our new hero. At Loops.so, our goal right now is to be the only platform you need to email your users The H1 matches that intention and the subheader reinforces it. We also wanted it to be clear we ship fast and often, so we added a pill showing the latest featured changelog. Agents are part of how people build software today, so we wanted to give that the second most important placement on the page, right after signup. Finally, the logo strip should not distract too much, but it should still help people understand these are users, not just logos. So we added the date of first payment from Stripe next to each logo. Next up, more things!

We are well aware that the Avenged Sevenfold family consists of many incredible musicians. That’s why we wanted to lift the veil a bit and give you all some cool tools to play with. Music stems and remixes aren’t necessarily a part of the rock and metal culture, but we felt it would be fun to see what some of you can do. We have provided all the high quality stems to “Cosmic” and we wanna hear what you can do with it. If you enjoy hearing these and creating with them, we will think about doing it with more songs. The grand prize winner will have their remix played live at our next concert in front of thousands of fans. How to Enter: • Download the audio files here: • Join our discord: • Post a link to your remix from SoundCloud in the #CosmicRemix channel before August 20th. • We will pick our top 3 remixes. Contest starts today. Rule info and prize details:

GPT-5.6 Sol is unbelievably good at creating and editing videos. It can do motion design, product demos, and animations like this one I made by simply giving it a screen recording. GPT 5.6 has the best design taste and significantly outperforms Fable, which relies heavily on repetitive design patterns. To help you experiment with video editing on it, we just launched a collection of 100 ready-to-use skills that show what’s possible and help you get started with video editing using GPT-5.6. These skills can create anything from motion graphics launch videos for your product to a 3B1B-style science explainer video. You can also use them to edit existing videos: add captions, generate motion graphics, create voiceovers, redesign visual styles, translate into new languages, and much more. If you want access to the full library, comment “VIDEO SKILLS” and I’ll share it with you. (You'll have to follow me so I can DM you.)

♾ Credit System Integrated + Vision Announcement♾️ NFINITY AI is going to become a household name in both Web3 and the AI space. We keep repeating the same thing over and over again, and we will do it again today: ♾️“A New Standard” ♾️ Our team is filled with experts. Years and years of experience comes together in this project. Not only do we understand Web3, but we also understand Web2. We analyzed, executed, and tried a lot of different approaches. We made dozens of case studies and came to one conclusion: Web3 needs a new standard. Web3 needs Web2 copywriting. Web3 needs non-greedy developers. Web3 needs communication and an understanding of human psychology at the highest level. Web3 needs speed and patience. Web3 needs timing. KOLs aren’t bad; they just have to be managed correctly. Web3 needs common sense. All that crazy 1000x stuff is not going to bring us great tech. It’s not providing us with the things we need. The short-term minded rule this place, while long-term people should be on top. And that’s what we’re doing. We like to take time to get to know our core community. We want to build with smart people, people who want to invest but also contribute. We want to build with the top 0.1%. The plan is simple: We’re building out an excellent idea. We start with Stage 1 and perfect it with the core community. We build out to Stage 2 and bring it to the masses. And when we arrive at stage 3 and start exploring the possibilities behind an L2... Well, then it’s time to shine. Build together with us. To Infinity And Beyond.

Today marks General Availability of AgentCore, a set of infrastructure building blocks for developers and companies to build secure, scalable agents. When we first started AWS, the vast majority of developers were spending most of their time on the undifferentiated heavy lifting of infrastructure instead of what differentiated their feature. So, we solved that problem by building primitive building blocks like compute and storage and database that would allow teammates and customers to quickly build and deploy new experiences without having to reinvent the wheel each time. We realized the same thing was happening with AI agents. It's too difficult and it's slowing customers down. That's why we created AgentCore, a set of services to build, deploy, and operate highly capable agents using any framework or model, with enterprise-grade security and scalability. These building blocks (like serverless secure runtime, memory, observability, a gateway that does MCP translation, etc) help customers tackle some of the biggest challenges of going from prototype to production, much more quickly, securely, and scalably. AgentCore has been in preview for several weeks, and customers have been quite excited about it. The AgentCore SDK has already been downloaded over a million times and we're seeing transformative results, such as Cohere Health expecting to reduce medical review times by 30-40% in highly regulated healthcare, and teams at Cox Automotive and Experian are embracing its flexibility to deploy and operate agents at scale. Inside Amazon, our Amazon Devices Operations & Supply Chain team is using AgentCore to develop an agentic manufacturing approach where AI agents work together to automate manual processes – turning what used to be days of engineering time into processes that take under an hour with high precision. Just like AWS changed how companies build and scale applications, we believe AgentCore will do the same for AI agents, enabling the next generation of innovation.
